Hence why it's a damned good job that the victims and their loved ones have absolutely no say whatsoever in the punishment of criminals.
Like I said DNA is taking away ALL doubt as to who did what and when so if tht doubt is 100% removed, then I feel the family of the victim should have first dibs on throwing the switch.
If it were my kid being executed I would be in complete grief and I would not want it to happen, however, whatever grief I would feel would be small potatoes compared to the grief felt by the victims family that had their loved one removed from them by MY sons hand. I really would not be in a position to beg for my sons life if that family wasn't in a position to beg for their sons life.
And, what of the executioner. After flipping the switch on 60 convicts, is he safe to have in the streets?

religion has always been the biggest cause for war and will always divide people, as it is a difference in beliefs as opposed to something trivial such as a difference in ethnicity. the only people religion brings together are people of the same religion, and the only way everyone is going to have the same religion is to force beliefs upon people, so i don't know if religious barriers will ever truely be overcome

How does a checkers game result in a draw? It's turn-based ffs.
What you say is certainly true, but the MP5 and the G36E both require two headshots to kill. A person like me who sprays wildly will need 6-8 hits with the smgs while a more disciplined player may need only two body shots and a headshot. Although, I wasn't expecting to compare lmgs to assault rifles to smgs. Both players will have kills stolen and will steal kills, but the more efficient should have less stolen and more steals. Like all stats, its can only be a generalized measure.DrunkFace wrote:
I really don't know how this shows 'effectiveness', using weapons which do less damage (such as pistols, carbines and submachine guns) will mean you need more hits per kill. Even using differing weapons in categories will change the numbers. A PKM user will need many less hits to get a kill compared to a M249, or an AK user compared to an M16 or even G36. Then theres the people that stay back and pick off already injured people (aka stealing kills), and those that run in hit more people but get less kills.
I like to shoot at helicopters and jeeps whenever they pass whether I have a smg or PKM. If I take one bar of health, its one less someone else will need to depelete. I'm sure there are many more situations like you've mentioned which will affect this measure, but there should be more worth than simple accuracy.
Plus, it was also for fun. Like your shotgun is impressive. With knife Senor fulff has 10 more kills than hits and you have 7 - how?
Or looking at snipers: 60% accuracy yet hit 4 times per kill compared to 40% accuracy with a kill every other hit.
Ha-ha, stupid me wrote it upside down. I meant kill/hit.pyscofrawg wrote:
Hit kill ratio for me....
Assault rifle- 3.63
Sniper- 2.14
LMG- 4.35
Shotgun- 0.75
Explosives- 1.06
As accuracy is affected by random shooting and firing on vehicles, it is not the best indication of shootnig efficency. However, as you all know, when you hover over your weapon accuracies it shows how many hits you have had.
Do you have any impressive hit to kill ratios.
Most of mine are under 10% except explosives which is near 80% (almost all from mines).

Once again the silly psychologists have messed things up. Where grades and percentages used to be given and cirriculums were absolute, kids now learn at their own pace and nobody fails because that is bad for self esteem. The students are rated not on the quality of their work but on the amount of work they convince their teachers they've done.
A child who wants to learn will. A child who doesn't won't. Parents can push their kids to do more than they would on their own.
I'll also blame AP. Some, not all by any means, who take part shouldn't. When I went to univeristy and started taking calculus, other students had done some in high school. They often didn't have sufficient basic math to actually understand what they did in high school and weren't capable of absorbing the university level stuff.

I'd disagree. Spec-Ops can't operate as spec-ops in a tank. If you have teammates near, one could take the tank. But, I think spec-ops should remain in a position to use their kit. If you are in the middle of nowhere and the tank can carry you back to the aciton, stealing is a good idea though.sierralima6 wrote:

Its easier to kill with assault rifle than smg. For people who don't like to be tk'ed because they didn't throw a medpack to someone, assault class is a good choice.Donald O' Brien wrote:
It's a fun class to play for sure, but it serves no purpose when trying to win a game (unless you are playing SF, but that's another story). The only thing it specializes in is killing, which you can do well enough with other classes while using their specialties at the same time, like reviving teammates. It just ends up being a redundant, useless class.

I wasn't specifically saying theories of global warming change regularly, but everyday something comes out contradicting a previous study whether it was carcinogens or healthy fat or whatever. There is no longer acceptance of academia because of it.PureFodder wrote:
Actually it's all the rest of the theories about the causes of global warming that regularly change and get picked apart. The scientific community has been in solid agreement about CO2 being one of the main culprits of our current global warming trends for decades. The strong debate isn't a scientific debate, it's a conservative vs. environmentalist debate, both sides of which tend to distort the science and ignore any bits that don't fit their preconceived viewpoints. Don't blame scientists, they're the only reliable bit in this issue, blame the media and idiots with political agendas.confused wrote:

I don't think anyone over 30 yrs old will disagree that climate has changed over their life. The cause of the changes and the worrisomeness of it will continue to be strongly debated. Some people with valid reasons others without.
Also predicting tomorrows weather has no particular relationship with predicting global climate. You can't predict where an electron will be tomorrow and yet you can supply a country with electricity.
While the ability to predict weather may have no relationship to understanding global warming, uninformed people (the masses from your original statement) will likely link the two together (ie weather is weather).

There are too many ways to play to say one side has an advantage. 16 player map - the market flag is harder to take than the square flag on the 64 player map. On 64 player map, I think the armour is farther away for the MEC team than the USMC. Playing 5 vs 5 IO it would be very difficult to pass the defenders. 32 vs 32, its easy for someone to make it past the hotel area.
On 32 vs 32 iF at the start all 32 USMC attack the hotel with armour support and the MEC have split their team to defend various possible attack points, US will gain a foothold. If MEC send all 32 to defend the hotel, US can easily slip past. I would guess luck in opening strategy would affect outcome most on balanced teams.
