Agreed. I work for Geek Squad and we have 4 belkin kvm switches. They're all pretty good. Like someone said above, you might want to look into getting a switch with usb support, especially if you have a printer that you don't want to share over your network.TGMaverick wrote:

So, you think there aren't people that stupid in other countries? Honestly, in a city as large as New York you can find a lot of retards. Plus, NYC has a ton of tourists. A lot of those people had really thick accents and might've been tourists. There's no telling whether or not they were Americans.maffiaw wrote:

You may get better performance from running two smaller hard drives and keeping your OS on one and everything else on the other. I know in theory the 150 is faster, but the OS might not take advantage of that speed.

The hippies probably didn't bring the kid to the hospital because they knew family services would take the kid and put it in a home that would feed it properly. I don't know how it is in every state, but here in Arkansas, the DHS can take children away from vegan parents because it's completely unhealthy to the baby. To the person up there that talked about his sister in law, good for her. I don't have any problem with people that want to follow a certain diet, but if you're going to feed your kids that way, be responsible and make sure they're getting what they need to grow.

Did everyone miss the fact that he broke INTERNATIONAL copyright agreements? He was tried in the US, but the laws he broke were international agreements. Now, I fully believe he should've been sent to Australia to serve his sentance so he could get visits from his family and such, but he wasn't extradited because he broke American law. He broke international law.

Saying "American target shooters" is quite a blanket statement... The same day my dad taught me to shoot a rifle, he taught me how to clean up my brass, even though we were just shooting a .22. But, I understand your gripe. There's a gravel pit behind my farm that gets junked up like that really bad, too. It's a real eyesore when I go 4 wheeler riding out there.
Depends on how you're getting the SPM. If it's reviving, you're saving your team a ticket every time you res someone. If it's playing support, ammo is important, but it's not directly relating to the ticket count. KDR is always important because you'll help the team by taking more tickets than you lose.
What about this argument? If the students at the school in West Virginia had a legal way to obtain the means to carry a concealed handgun on campus, would the shooting have been as bad? Here in Arkansas, you can take a concealed carry class and pay about $150 and earn the right to legally carry a handgun. You have to prove that you can safely handle a handgun and take a 6 hour class explaining the laws about concealed carry as well as covering gun safety. However, the law is limited (which I'm fine with) concerning where you can carry. You obviously can't carry on federal property or in a bar, but I think it would be reasonable to allow college students to carry if they had a permit. You have to be 21 to get the permit, so that would limit the number of students that might choose to go to the trouble to obtain a legal means to carry a handgun, but if there would've been a couple of legal handgun carriers in that hall, the shooting at VT probably wouldn't have been as bad.
I agree. Whichever round you had a better time playing is better, in my opinion. Who gives a fuck that you have 55 more or less points? I've had some great rounds trying to get knife badges just sneaking around trying to get behind people. Were my SPM or KDR good those rounds? Hell no. But I had fun...gvers wrote:

I totally agree. I think people just like to see 300 points by their name or something. I think my SPM is probably lower on a "high points" server because I'll get 250-300 points, but it'll take the same ammount of time as playing 3 or 4 70-100 point full 64 player maps. Every once in a while it's a nice change of pace because it's so much slower, but I can't stand more than 2 or 3 rounds of it before I want to get back into some action.
The bottom line is that Pelosi took an oath to defend the Constitution that her foriegn policy forrays undermine. It is true that a majority of Americans want changes in Iraq and probably with our foriegn policy, but the President is in charge of foriegn policy. If the President decides we aren't going to engage in talks with Syria, it's completely out of line for members of Congress to decide that they should engage in talks.
Also, everyone says "what about the single click thing." Just plug in a two button mouse and it works fine. I've been using Microsoft or Logitech mice on Macs for years. You don't even have to install drivers. It is a bit annoying on a laptop if you don't have a mouse plugged into it, but like was stated above, ctrl+click is right click. As far as the guy that asked about getting used to the OS, I think it's pretty easy. The biggest difference is that you don't close a program by clicking the "X" at the top of the window, you have to actually quit the program to kill it.
I use both and they're both good for what they do. I personally think that OSX is a much better operating system than WinXP, but Apple coders don't have to worry about making their shit work on a million different machine configurations, so OSX should run a lot better than WinXP. Macs are much better for pro audio/video applications, but gaming on a Mac is teh failz.

i agree. i think you should have the right to express the view that you don't like america. however, i also think people who are pissed about america have the right to either get the fuck out or do something more constructive than just burning a flag. yes, you have the right to do it. i think it makes you a stupid asshole, though. not because you're burning the flag, but because you're complaining without offering anything constructive.
Do you think muslim women have the right to cover their faces when they get a driver's license or other form of government ID? What about a passport picture? Of course they have to show their faces so you can check identity. However, I think it would be appropriate to have one or two muslim-woman friendly polling places that could have a separate room that men aren't allowed in and a female poll worker could check identity. Muslim women are permitted to take off veils when there aren't men around, aren't they?Ryan wrote:

How often do you think planes make two runs past enemies in battle? "Let's just fly over the first time to make sure it's the right target, then we'll waste a shitload of fuel and time by flying around and attacking, when they won't be in the same spot anymore and we'll have to find them again." There's no sense in sending planes for more than one overflight. What we need is better communication. Don't get me wrong, I think it's awful that a British soldier was killed, but I think it's insane to say they should've done a low flight over a target to identify it. There should've been solid communication between the Brits and Americans so that there was no question as to whether or not those tanks were friendly.
So, you're saying the US forces deliberately attacked a British convoy?=EXP= TMMTAKEN wrote:

Is there a definitive time line for that afternoon? Some reports say that the Marines attacked those houses several hours after the IED went off. If that's true, it lends credibility to the argument that the Marines snapped when their squad member died and just went on a rampage. However, if an IED went off and then gunshots were popping out of a building in the confusion, I don't think you could blame the Marines for killing anything dumb enough to move, whether the men were "military aged" or old, even if they were running away. I don't think you can blame someone for what happens in the heat of combat. However, if it's true that several hours passed between the IED and the raiding of the houses, that's a problem. If they had time to cool down, think, and premeditate, then it would have been murder to charge into houses that you don't have solid intel on, in my opinion.
Who here has said "FUCK THE USA?" I love my country, but I think there are plenty of great things about the European, Australian, and Thai cultures from what I've seen in my own experience. You're being a serious douchebag by saying things like "you little pussy ass Euro trash fags can blow me." Hehe, nice math. 30M/300M = 10%, not 1%. However, I suppose you mistyped because the CIA world factbook says 1% of the population is Muslim, which would be almost 3M people. But, according to this article from religioustolerance.org, it's hard to tell how many Muslims are in the US. I don't know how accurate their numbers are or what their political bias might be, but their article on how to find the number of Muslims in the US seems fair because they show different sources showing anywhere from 1 to 12 million Muslims in the US between 1995 and 2001. In fairness, the 12M figure came from a Pakistani newspaper, so it's probably not reliable.=OBS= EstebanRey wrote:

What's sad is that scientology scams people that aren't necessarily stupid, they just prey on people that are vulnerable. They target people going through tough times and give them a "solution" to their problems. People that are hurting want to believe what the scientologists are telling them, and I bet some of the counseling (not the fucked up beliefs) actually helps people, because simply talking to someone else about your problems is helpful. Then they throw in all the alien bullshit, but by the time you get into the crazy shit, you've paid a lot of money and they have you on video confessing all of your deepest secrets so you'd be embarrased if you left the cult. Then they steal more of your money.GunSlinger OIF II wrote:
