I got mine on a Warlord 16/64 server. I just waited until SAS captured a flag in the palace (was the 2nd floor flag on right side). Then I just stood over the hallway and dropped 1 C4 off the balcony at a time and waited for some unexpecting SAS players to come running out. Most of the time I immeadiately dropped another pack of C4 and waited for the medic to come and revive the one(s) is just killed. Usually averaged about 2-3 kills per shot.
Basically though I just lucked out in the end, I needed 3 more kills with 5 tickets left on SAS side and just happened to turn the corner and there were 3 SAS guys coming up the stairs, so I chucked 1 C4 waited for them to turn the corner and walla! Even got a teamkill and punished for it just as the round ended.. WOOT!

Guys lets get back to something important that was mentioned by pndragon26 in a post on page 2. This jessie guy appears to be a fraud.
Here's an article in wikipedia about him http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesse_Macbeth and here's some other links about this topic as well. http://www.google.com/search?client=saf … p;oe=UTF-8
Macbeth's uniform as worn in the video was inconsistent with Army regulations,[19] and in some cases, inconsistent with his purported identity. Boyce is quoted in Stars and Stripes as saying "There are... numerous wear and appearance issues with the soldier's uniform – a mix of foreign uniforms with the sleeves rolled up like a Marine and a badly floppy tan beret worn like a pastry chef," Stars and Stripes also reported that Macbeth wore his beret with the insignia over the wrong eye.
if you reference my post up top, prior to reading this I already identified all that shit... dumbass should be jailed for impersonating a real American...
Well I honestly don't believe that the guy is/was a soldier or a Ranger. First off the picture of him on the wall is representative of a total shit bag. I have never, in 15 years in the Infantry, seen a Ranger with a "Pogue" shaped beret. Plus there was no unit crest on the beret, hmmm? Not only that but his uniform in the picture looks like the fucking wrinkle bunny jumped all over his ass, again not happening in BAT. Then his house/apartment looked straight out of the "How Not to Live Healthy" manual. Rangers pride themselves on who they are and what they do, everything about them reflects this pride, their appearance, conduct, attitude, and actions. This guy has none of those characteristics. Plus in the video he looks like he went down to Goodwill and bought an old BDU top to wear around and act cool.
I didn't watch the whole thing because I had to throw up the bullshit flag after the intro. I think the only title of Ranger this guy ever could claim had an "ASS" before it. So until he can provide a little more information about his service record other than word of mouth, I ain't believing any of his BS. I think he's just some Joe smoe off the street looking for his 15 minutes of fame.
EDIT: Okay I just identified some more shit that absolutely tells me he is a civilian acting like a soldier. Another uniform flaw(s) I found. His go to war patch sewn on is Special Forces and not a Ranger scroll, plus he has the SF tab sewn on the right sleeve when it should be on the left side. Where are his Airborne wings??? Show me a soldier that has completed Airborne training and doesn't wear their wings and I'll give you a buffalo nickle! He has no US Army or Name tape on his uniform. His sleeves are rolled like the Marines with white out and not camo pulled over. The rank in the picture is Private and in the video he's wearing corporal. Another thing this bumbling stutter fuck does that gives him away as a fake is the way he talks, meaning he uses no military acronyms or terminology. For example he says he flew in to Kuwait and was caravan ed up to Iraq, eerrrrr NO.. in the Army we call this a convoy!
I could pick this fucking bullshit artist apart all day long, it's a hoax period!
BTW is it just me or is does that so called new baby boy with the straight black hair look like anything but black?

Okay so lets do a little comparison:
Generation X : Born 1965-1976 (51 Million)
Accept diversity
Pragmatic/practical
Self-reliant/individualistic
Reject rules
Killer life
Mistrust institutions
PC
Use technology
Multitask
Latch-key kids
Friend-not family
The 51 million members of Generation X, born between 1965 and 1976, grew up in a very different world than previous generations. Divorce and working moms created "latchkey" kids out of many in this generation. This led to traits of independence, resilience and adaptability. Generation X feels strongly that "I don't need someone looking over my shoulder."
At the same time, this generation expects immediate and ongoing feedback, and is equally comfortable giving feedback to others. Other traits include working well in multicultural settings, desire for some fun in the workplace and a pragmatic approach to getting things done.
Generation X saw their parents get laid off or face job insecurity. Many of them also entered the workplace in the early '80s, when the economy was in a downturn. Because of these factors, they've redefined loyalty. Instead of remaining loyal to their company, they have a commitment to their work, to the team they work with, and the boss they work for. For example, a Baby Boomer complains about his dissatisfaction with management, but figures its part of the job. A Gen Xer doesn't waste time complaining-she sends her resume out and accepts the best offer she can find at another organization.
At the same time, Generation X takes employability seriously. But for this generation there isn't a career ladder. There's a career lattice. They can move laterally, stop and start, their career is more fluid.
Even more so than Baby Boomers, members of Generation X dislike authority and rigid work requirements. An effective mentoring relationship with them must be as hands-off as possible. Providing feedback on their performance should play a big part, as should encouraging their creativity and initiative to find new ways to get tasks done. As a mentor, you'll want Gen Xers to work with you, not for you. Start by informing them of your expectations and how you'll measure their progress and assure them that you're committed to helping them learn new skills. (Members of Generation X are eager to learn new skills because they want to stay employable.) Gen Xers work best when they're given the desired outcome and then turned loose to figure out how to achieve it. This means a mentor should guide them with feedback and suggestions, not step-by-step instructions.
Millennials or Generation Y : Born 1977–1998 (75 million)
Celebrate diversity
Optimistic/realistic
Self-inventive/individualistic
Rewrite the rules
Killer lifestyle
Irrelevance of institutions
Internet
Assume technology
Multitask fast
Nurtured
Friends = family
Just beginning to enter the workplace, The Millennial Generation was born between 1977 and 1998. The 75 million members of this generation are being raised at the most child-centric time in our history. Perhaps it's because of the showers of attention and high expectations from parents that they display a great deal of self-confidence to the point of appearing cocky. As you might expect, this group is technically literate like no one else. Technology has always been part of their lives, whether it's computers and the Internet or cell phones and text pagers.
Millennials are typically team-oriented, banding together to date and socialize rather than pairing off. They work well in groups, preferring this to individual endeavors. They're good multitaskers, having juggled sports, school, and social interests as children so expect them to work hard. Millennials seem to expect structure in the workplace. They acknowledge and respect positions and titles, and want a relationship with their boss. This doesn't always mesh with Generation X's love of independence and hands-off style.
All Millennials have one thing in common: They are new to the professional workplace. Therefore, they are definitely in need of mentoring, no matter how smart and confident they are. And they'll respond well to the personal attention. Because they appreciate structure and stability, mentoring Millennials should be more formal, with set meetings and a more authoritative attitude on the mentor's part.
Provide lots of challenges but also provide the structure to back it up. This means breaking down goals into steps, as well as offering any necessary resources and information they'll need to meet the challenge. You might consider mentoring Millennials in groups, because they work so well in team situations. That way they can act as each other's resources or peer mentors.

The 7900 series comes with a fan and if you search around you can buy them factory OC'd but your better off buying stock and doing it yourself. Especially if you plan on getting a second for SLi, I bought a factory OC'd 7900GTX then went back a month later for the second and Evga stopped producing them so I had to get a stock and OC it to the same specs so I could run them in SLi... pain in the ass!
Your question has been answered thoughtfully, however:

He never pulled our troops out of policing situations he pulled them out of situations he felt would cause the loss of a soldiers life and therefore directly impact his public rating and jepordize his re-election potential...cpt.fass1 wrote:
And yeah he pulled out troops when in policing situations. >>>Why should we have american's die and waste money when it's not protecting our country one bit<<<.
I like the way your phrase "why should we have american's die", almost like you dawned an old uniform from the Goodwill and actually contributed to a global conflict that could have an large scale impact on the US.
Ummmmm, point in being = 9/11???
So why you use the terms WE and AMERICANS in your arguements all you really do is continue to debate based on whay you believe the problem(s) to be. I'm more intersted in your solutions to these problems and not your general grouping that all Americans share you opinion... I know I don't so infact WE is YOU and you would only be an American not (S)...
Sure, he always did the political ass kissing routine and got permission but Clinton was also famous for pulling troops out of conflicts at the first sign of trouble or when we got our noses bloodied. His actions during those times, like Somolia, were and still are contributing factors as to the way other countries see us. He basically gave people a reason to believe that the US was weak and would run if the enemy could get in one good punch... So I have to commend Bush for proving to those countries through this conflict that we are willing to stick it out and go toe to toe with them.cpt.fass1 wrote:
Well he used deplomacy to build up support before actions and he's actions in war were tactical attacks.
Edit: and BTW the first 4 glory years for Clinton were a direct result from the actions of Regan and the things he had in the works prior to Bill ever taking office (and that can be said for any president elect). The last four years Clinton was president he didn't do anything siginifcant other than reduce our military forces and cut their annual budgets resulting in poorly trained and poorly equipped troops which effects were felt all the way through the beginning of the this war.
With an above average system STEAM by far, but with my old system which was just average it was a resource hog and took forever to login, update, and get into a game....
So I'm torn and didn't vote either way..
So I'm torn and didn't vote either way..
Poor public speaker YES, poor speach writers YES, but bumb NO...
All I can say is not only was he elected into his first term of office, even taking into account that Floridiots can't count, but he was re-elected back into office. His re-election can easily be attributed to the fact that the only other candidate(s) were actually viewed as more retarded than GW. I think he has done a fine job at leading this nation and support him and/or any president based on the fact they were elected by the majority the way it was meant to be.
Compared to Clinton he's better, but looms in the shadow of the great late R. Regan. He is also the first President since Kennedy/Nixon that have held office during a sustained conflict. The difference between '63' and '03' is that everyone has become more opinionated. The modern day mindset is give me, give me, give me and why, because I think I deserve it, I'm an American. The past day mindset was give, give, give and why because my country deserves it and I'm a patriot!
It all comes down to one basic fact. You can sit around talking about how cold it is and how great a fire would be until you freeze to death OR you can get off your ass, go find some wood, a source to light it, and build a nice big fire for all to enjoy. The problem with most people today is they would rather sit around and complain about how cold it is vs. doing something about it.
So until "EVERYONE" that claims to be an American, and those who are bold enough and dare say Patriots, can make a positive contribution for all then the US will continue to head down the same road we are on and remain oblivious to all the road signs...
BTW... yes I make a positive contribution for the well being of my nation every day.... I like to call it "The Army" but you can call what you will...

Edit: My latest and greatest was last friday night on Dilian Plant. Some n00b admin wanted the J-10 but I kept beating him to it, so he kept blowing me up. He repeated this 5 or 6 times before I had enough and returned the favor. To which he responded "Haha, bye loser" and then I was kicked for having to many TK's, WTF...?
I was also kicked that same night because some clan was Pwn'n a bunch of lower ranked players on Midnight sun via massive spawn rape on US airfield. So I handily eliminated them off the spawn, got in the A-10 and commenced to owning them. I was kicked for, and get this, "Using A-10 Exploit" whatever the fuck that is...
If nothing else with the proper amount of alcohol combined with some L33t Admins over zealous ego, I get alot of laughs out of this game...
Gateway sucks!!! I had the same issue when I owned a gateway, went through 3 ATI X9800 Pro cards and 2 Nvidia 5500's, plus the tech support sucked. After 3 months of dealing with all the BS I finally scraped it, built my own and salvaged the HD, Mem, & Vid Card. So if you can, save up so $$$ and loose the door stop you have now.

I actually find it amusing to occasionally throw some wood on the fire when 2 people are going at it. About 2 weeks ago I did just that and had some 12 year old fronting as a 25+ year old ex marine who was 6'7" and 250 that was going to rip my head off. So I gave him my phone number and address and told him to come on down and educate me.... haven't heard from him yet?
Most of the time though, unless I'm waiting to spawn, I don't have time to read all that shit because I'm to busy getting mine... Though Cyborg and Stryyker envoked a written response last night.... level 12 spawn rape...

OMG HAXOR!!!! Actually, I've been witness to it as well and took some FRAPS video of the whole deal. It was actually kinda interesting as there was a 187 player in the server commanding and doing the vehicle drops and also using an aimbot hax to boot..... He was MEC and on top, yes on top, of the the hotel shooting with a pistol into the US spawn on the right side of the map as your traveling into town. He was L33t because he would hit you with every shot at any range no matter what your were doing, standing, running, etc, and always kill you with 1 or 2 shots...hmmmmm skill? I think not. However I'm torn between turning him in to BFROE or just posting the vid and SS's on the web to highlight his unique skills.... then again maybe I'll just let it go,,,, we'll see.
Spawn Rap3ge??? WTF is that???
Cyborg or Stryyker can you explain to me what that means??? I don't recall ever doing anything like that in a server, whatever it is....

Okay some good input so far and a little comprimise on my part but I did this> Went 3x3 on maps with 3 city and 3 air.
New Map rotation:
Karkand 32 ground
Sharqi 32 ground
Clean Sweep 64 air
Mashtuur 32 ground
Dalian 64 air
Oman 64air
I will rotate out the air maps to include wake, daqing and dragon valley every week or two. Ocasionally I may even throw in an EF/AF map rotation if enough request it.

Yes it's Ranked and hosted out of Chicago by AOWC. Server runs really acceptional pings with myself usually around 20-30. Our New Foundland member runs a ping of 120-130 and usually he runs around 150+ on other servers.
Okay I just purchased a 20 player server for my clan and could use some general tips/hints to get it up and moving. Here's is how I have it set up right now:
Maps/Size: Karkand 64; Sharqi 64; Mashtuur 32; Wake 64.
Time Limit: None
Tickets: 100
To Start: 7 players
Is there any other maps I should include or anything I'm missing. Is there anything in particular with the server settings I should know about. What do the masses look for in a server, I set it up pretty much by what I look for in a server. That is long rounds with alot of skilled players.
The reason I ask this is because everytime we get the server going my clan, though divided amongst the 2 teams seems to run everyone else off by kicking their ass? I would think stiff competition would be a plus for personal improvement, but maybe not?
Anywho, the server info is:
Servername: 24/7 ~ifh~recruiting (city maps) or (IP: 64.182.158.162 : 16567)
Ventrillo: vent.ifhcamp.com or (IP:142.163.124.149)
So any of you's who's looking for some competitve play, fun rounds, and a great gaming atmosphere stop by and give it a go, hope to see some of ya'll there... 2night would be a good start.

It's simple and hard at the same time:
Find a 16 player server hosting 64 player Warlord map (i.e. high ticket count = 300)
Either capture or allow the enemy to capture one of the flags in the Palace. Then just start tactically placing C-4 in the halls etc. It only took me 2 maps to get expert doing this.
Other maps will work but stick to something that is perdominately a ground map, i.e. karkand, sharqi, mashtuur, etc. Though I found trying it on vinalla servers hard as hell and was only able to get veteran on them.
Have fun!

Online, BF2 owns the other 2 titles because of the numerous options (i.e. flying, driving, mounted weapons shooting). Having played all 3 titles BF2 is still the cats meow!
GRAW is an awsome single player game with defined graphics and very tactical game play. If you don't have a better than average system with a great vid card I don't think it would be worth buying. Online GRAW is a flashback of CS and Delta Force A&D mode. You just run around capping flag points, pretty much a straight shooter with not alot of hiding places that give you ample shooting lanes and the weapon accuracy isn't all that great. Last I knew Ubi was working on another patch to fix all the online hosting/playing issues and adding additional game types. Once they get it all figured out I think it will be a worthy online game.
COD2 is a decent single player game and lame multi player. I basically bought it, installed it, played for 4 or 5 hours and then unistalled it, so hey if you want a used version PM me and we can discuss a price.

Average IQ, Gifted IQ, Genius IQ
An IQ score of 100 is average. Only one person in the world has an average IQ, with 50% of everyone else being smarter and 50% being less smart. As IQ scores increase, so do opinions on what marks "gifted" and "genius". IQ ratings are generally relative to the personal opinion and view of the person being asked (a 6'6" tall man may appear tall to a 5' tall man, but an 8' tall man thinks everyone to be short).
Generally, "average" IQ is about 90 to 115, "talented" is about 115 to 125, "gifted" is about 125 to 140, and about 140+ is commonly deemed as having the potential for "genius". It is important to note that whatsoever environment a person lives in, it is that which the person will deem "normal", and all IQ terms are only relative to the person's own.

I thought I would bring it to light so you could have a chance to "Clarify" it before you found yourself on BF2Roe...

I have a question though? Half way through the video there is a short clip on Karkand 16 Player Map, bottom flag. There's 3 or 4 of your team mates there with you and then theres also 4 or 5 enemy there around the corner. I could count everyone becaues for some odd reason I could see all their "TAGS" to include enemy...? Hmmmmm L33t Haxor.....:p
Edit: the vid time it runs from/to is 1:57 to 2:08.

There's a multitude of websites that you could've found your answer on but okay...
25hrs playing AF and 1s on each map.... then it's all yours!

Well I've flowing with both and hands down using a joystick for me is the only way to go. Joysticks are more responsive and allow smoother transitions. I have 7 programable buttons on the top of my joystick so I have everything I need, i.e. change view, flares, fire 1, fire 2, afterburner, chaff, etc. I can use with my right index finger or thumb, which allows the other hand to be free (for drinking beer & voip), lol...
You'll just have to drop the $$$$ and see if you like it better than mouse/keyboard combo. I reccomend it!
Besides you can always sell the joystick if you don't like it.
Also go for the Satiek Cyborg Evo only about $30.00 and it beats the hell out of my sidewinder 2.

Usually it takes a me the longest when I load the first map of the evening, after that I'm the first one in the map 98% of the time. My computer usually will go straight from the end of round screen to the verifying screen and skips the other 2 50% of the time. <<< advantage Husker

Indiscriminate Killings of Civilians? Well now isn't that ironic....
After reading several posts over the last few weeks, since the "Haditha Incident", and the allegations made by some that the U.S. is the only country that produces "Unjustified Killers" I can't help but ask, WTF? I would appear that the general over all mindset in Iraq is a "Shoot First" ask questions later. I think it's safe to say that would include all factions and forces and NOT just the U.S. At least in the Haditha incident those soldiers were at least attacked before they reacted, though I still do not condone the shooting of unarmed soldiers/civilians.
A video has surfaced on the Internet showing private security contractors working for Aegis Defense Services "Victory" Group firing indiscriminately at Iraqi civilian motorists in Baghdad.
Since the news has been released, acknowledged by the mainstream British press, including The Telegraph (see article below), the video has been removed.from the Aegis co Iraq website.
http://globalresearch.ca/audiovideo/Aegis-PSD.wmv : **Note: love the music BTW!!!
Iraqis complain that the force used by contractors, who are immune from prosecution under an order signed into Iraqi law last year, is often excessive. source: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/co … 02356.html
Now how is it that Civilian Contractors are not held accountable for their actions nor are they held to any kind of "Rules of Engagement" (ROE)? Sure, the employee's that produced this video will by all means have actions taken against them but what about the thousands for other contractors running a muck?
This is not meant to be a bash on Britain or British citizens, I just wanted to make 2 points:
1. The U.S. is obviously not the only foreign country in Iraq that has done something that brings up "Questionable Conduct".
2. Are Civilian Contractors are given entirely to much leniency when it comes to daily operations in Iraq. Understanding that they are hired to provide security and are authorized to carry weapons, but so are soldiers, yet soldiers are restricted by "Rules of Engagement". Even in the Haditha incident, though the end result was of unacceptable consequence, they at least were ambushed and fired at before returning fire.
Edit > Added:
And "YES" I know, this is all second hand news, I wasn't there so no I don't know the exact circumstances of this entire incident. I will neither confirm or deny the fact that if it was me in that car I would or would not have done the same thing with the constant fear of being blown up by a car bomb.

Okay, first off, where in my post did I accuse you of quoting famous people, this would be hearsay. I simply said that the way you write your posts reminds me of the character in that movie. I said nothing about you being that character, though you are a character. Second, I have yet to read one of your post that need be proven "poetic or knowledgable" as most of them are reverberations of the previous posts you've made in this thread. You just continue to say the same thing by restructuring your sentences via different words, lol. Third, what analogy? I was making a general reference to the comparison between you and a character in a movie and not "the resemblance in some particulars between things otherwise unlike" < this being the definition of an analogy. So what you should of said was, "You suck at comparisons" < meaning the representing of one thing or person as similar to or like another.Xietsu wrote:
What the fuck? I never quote any "famous" people. Not only that, but no "Matt Damon figure" has managed to prove my "tries to be poetic and knowledgeable" wrong. Sorry, you too suck at analogies.Husker~ifh~ wrote:

Hey don't worry about it, simple mistake, hell if I tried to use that many big words in each and everyone of my post I'd lose track of the definitions too.
This is where you quote me again and write another witty response over using your knowledge of the english language. May I suggest this time you do it in german or french, make it intersting.
Like this:
French: Essayez de rendre votre réponse plus original et moins comme un commandant anglais de la 2ème année ?
Translated: Try to make your response more original and less like a 2nd year english major?
Translated: Ikati, if killing and murder are never things your think about then why do you bring the subject up in everyone of your post? I don't see the military people talking about killing babies every post... isn't it ironic?
Okay, thanks, bye bye now, have fun, hugs n kisses, winning their hearts and minds with MRE candy...
