Nah i just prefere ATi over the "other" brands, just seems to give me alot better frame rates, but when i buy a new PC i might try nvidea. as the 7900GTX looks tasty and cheap

I have ATI x850 good enough
I have an ATI x700. Only thing is that it's an ASUS one. It still works great, I can play BF2 at all the highest settings so I don't care.
always have had ATi, but im not a fanboy (fanboyism is dumb btw, the most stupid is the case of CPU fanboys)
when i next upgrade i might however look at nVidia but i dont care who makes it

Nvidia is way ahead of its competitors....7950gx2??? that card smashes ANYTHING ATI has.... SLI=pure pwnage, crossfire is a joke.

and im not just an Nvidia fan boy, i have owned two ati cards in both my previous pc's. they had horrible driver issues and never performed nearly as well as the Nvidia cards that i have owned (bfg tech 7800 gt and now the dual 7900gt's by bfg tech.

I have the nVidia geforce 7800 GS
Over the years I've had 4 ATI cards, 2 of which died within weeks and one which died over the period of 5-6 months. Finally decided to jump ship and have moved to nvidia 6800 GS 256 and am impressed so far.

7900GT now, 9800 Pro before. The 9800 served me very well in the past, but the 7900 is where it's at for now. Don't really have a preference between the two brands, whatever is powerful, stable and cheap.
edit: Still have an old Geforce 2 MX that fucking kicks ass. It doesn't game for shit anymore, but if I am even in a bind and need to get something running for whatever reason, it's a workhorse and always works so I can fix a problem.
Morale of the lesson, always keep a cheap pci card on hand!

NVidia 7900 GT, before an ATI X800XL
I have a BFG 7900GTX OC. This thing is a very nice card and handles BF2 really well.
I play BF2 at 1920x1200x32 with everything turned up to "high" or "max" whatever in the settings, and I get a constant 100fps with occasional dips to 90fps or so.
