yup, there's really no debate here.Finray wrote:
Pff, there's no point in using anything but the 40mm grenade. The shotgun is fun, the smoke is tactical, but the noobtube is just so overpowered there's no point in using the other attatchments.
we played with awesomecat two nights in a row and he was pulling the same crap. last night there were bf2s guys, team beer guys and OSP guys on the server and we all were in agreement that awesome cat was using some sort of aimbot. he took out our entire squad on the roof with head shots from his handgun...and we were all waiting for him.Ben0 wrote:
Yea good fun, pop on again whenever. To my knowledge Awesome_cat doesnt hack. If he's found out to be he'll be kicked/banned/crucified. Think he was just having a good night- he's played shit many times before, as have we all.
Night. I've always hated you. Why did you come back. This place stinks when you're around, I miss Hurri.
Wait, wat?
your squad was locked!Hallvard wrote:

but yea, got kicked as well... gonna take a small break and try to reconnect later.
We won't have the bf2 experience until bf3 comes out. The problem is that PC gaming is not so attractive to developers at the moment. We basically have to hope to get console ports because consoles are far more profitable for them. I think bc2 is a good compromise. even though it is a port they spent a good amount of time on it. I think it will do for the old bf2 community. just look at mw2 to see what the apathy that current developers have for the PC gamers out there.danCer wrote:
actually right now bc2 still cant compete with bf2.
i enjoy playing it for sure but bf2 i dont know it's something.... different!

I've yet to kill anything with the mortar strike. I'm like 0 for 5 so was thinking it was useless. I guess I'll keep trying!theDude5B wrote:
I thought this too but then unlocked the Mortar which gives you an extra option for taking out Vehicles, especially if they are just camping in a spot which makes it very hard to get close enough for attacking them with rockets or c4. Also with the Mortar attacks, even if you don't take out the tank on the first try, it will at least kill the engineers who are fixing the tank from the rear. Then hopefully someone can hit it with a rocket and take it out.superfly_cox wrote:
Okay, here's my wishlist (aside from bugs, stability, etc):
8) Vehicle survivability. It is way too easy to stay alive in a tank if you got two people repairing you. A decent strategy but i've seen it abused in games.
Also I love the fact that you can take out those pesky snipers with a Mortar strike

BC2 will be better than sliced bread.
but let's say hypothetically that a teammate accidentally TK's you before you get to the tank. in that case i'm sure you won't mind if i take her out for a spin!!!^*AlphA*^ wrote:

alphie, you don't mind if i borrow your tank every now and then!
we would need it 24/7 in our Squad.
there's a different sports etiquette in the US. i realize that the concept doesn't exist in the UK, but in the US there's tradition in this sense. also, its applicable to some sports and not others. for instance in baseball its not considered inappropriate while in basketball and football it is.Mek-Izzle wrote:
What do you guys mean by "running up the score"
We don't use that term here. Are you guys talking about absoloutley thrashing your oppoenent? What's wrong with that, over here. That's what everyone tries to do. If Man Utd had the chance of beating Arsenal 8-0, they'd do it without battering an eyelid.
if you really followed sports in the US then you'd understand why running up the score is considered poor sportsmanship (because you're doing it to embarrass your opponent) and a general no-no in american sports such as football and basketball. look at the knicks-nuggets brawl for instance.geNius wrote:
Oh Christ; since when should handicapping be an accepted practice in professional sports of any kind?superfly_cox wrote:
shameful = running up the score on opponents all year
unless you work for an NFL team and have some sort of inside knowledge about this then you're just talking speculation. fact is that the patriots and their coach were fined (250K and 500K) and also lost their first round pick in next year's draft because they were caught taping the opponent's defensive play calling.geNius wrote:
They all do it; they just don't all get caught.superfly_cox wrote:
shameful = videotaping opponents practices and signal
i've been following all four major american sports for my entire life and know my sports extremely well. just because you disagree with my point of view doesn't make me ignorant. but it does make you just another internet loser who feels empowered by stroking his e-penis online.geNius wrote:

it's people like you guys who kinda make it hard to be a good sport about this whole thing.
giants won... does it bring you some immense amount of joy to rub it in and make pats fans feel like they suck?
I don't think you'll talk to a single pats fan who supports cheating. it's a bummer, but they payed more than a fair price.
and as a mod, I would have expected you to have seen one of the 3 other threads about essentially the same thing Soup Fly.
Shameful
i could watch this all day!
