Oh and this one wasn't big in numbers, but it was big in impact. I did NOT like Casey Mears that day ...

Sometimes it takes a bigger man to not say anything and reap the benefits later, than to say something now and have instant gratification.
I had one surgically removed about 6 months ago. Once the anesthesia and pain killers wore off that afternoon, I was hurtin'. The one they removed was completely impacted and they had to cut my gumline open to help remove it. I think I had like 3 stiches.Ryan wrote:
So yeah, the day has come. I go in at 1:00pm tomorrow, get an Ativan pill, and sit for an hour for the pill to take effect. It's basically just to calm me down so I don't have to worry about anything.
Have you guys had your wisdom teeth pulled? If so, did it hurt afterwards? I'm not too nervous, nothing could be worse than the first few days after getting braces.
The best advice is to follow their instructions/directions to the letter! No solid food at least until the bleeding stops. I think it was somewhere around 2 weeks later until I was eating "normal" food again. But thankfully I avoided dry sockets.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Kyle Busch gets the pole @ qualifying. As much as it pains me to say it, that kid can flat-out drive.

Tony wasn't penalized b/c of the "racing incident" in practice, he was penalized for playing bumper cars with Kurt Busch on their way to pit road/garage.Stingray24 wrote:
Well Ryan's a nice enough guy, congrats to him. If Tony gets penalized for clipping someone in traffic in practice I want to see Montoya's penalty for ramming Bowyer off the track.
Just heard on NASCAR Raceday (on Speed) that the Toyota motors are producing 15-30 more HP than everyone else. Not a good sign for the rest of the field.

Yep, everyone who changed motors before the races today will have to start at the back of their respective race. The motor change does not have any direct impact for the 500 on Sunday. In fact, most (if not all) teams will change motors after today and put a new one in for the rest of the weekend.ig wrote:
don't you have to start at the back if you change engines? i know they made a new rule regarding engines in the past season or 2, but i'm not sure of the specifics.
Looks like problems for the whole Hendrick bunch...
Hopefully #88 gets their motors fixed...I could care less about the #48 and even less about the #24.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Those powerful, seemingly unbeatable Hendrick Motorsports cars had major engine problems Wednesday during practice for the Daytona 500.
Two-time defending champion and pole-sitter Jimmie Johnson, four-time series champ Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Casey Mears all were forced to change engines because of a lifter problem likely caused by a bad batch of coating.

I'm thinking of taking tomorrow afternoon off so that I can watch the duels. Either that, or I'm going to have to reconfigure the firewalls at work so I can stream the race on my 'puter.
I only use my credit card for things I can afford. I pay it off every month, so I really don't give 2 shits what my interest rate is.

Put it this way - there's going to be an upside and a downside to every single candidate. The trick is to figure out which one is going to mess things up the least, and vote for them.
I bought an 80 GB PS3 just before Christmas, and I love it. Only drawback that it has (IMO) is that Sony took out the Emotion Engine hardware and replaced it with software, so PS1 and PS2 games don't have 100% backwards compatability anymore. What's even worse is that the 40 GB model has absolutely zero backwards compatability.
The only reason that it's a drawback for me is that my PS2 took a shit about 1 1/2 years ago, and I didn't want to have to buy another one.
IF you can still find a 60 GB model, it has the Emotion Engine hardware chip, so full backwards compatability is assured.

I know this isn't a 50", but it's 46". I've got the 40" version of this TV and I wouldn't trade it for anything the world...I absolutely love it.

Can you prove that God isn't real? For me, when judgement day comes, I'd rather be on the side of the fence that believes in God than on the other side of the fence.Mitch wrote:

I challenge ANYONE to provide me with enough proof that there god is real. I don't follow Atheism blindly. Atheism is the lack of the foggy goggles of religion that most people where. Take em off, and see the world clearly.
And yeah i guess i am an evengelical atheist, but im proud of it. I haven't once complained about someone pushing there religion in my face, i love when they do, i love debating it.You could. But a lot of people are proud of there lack of god, and there non-conformity.Mek-Izzle wrote:

Yes - as long as the phone isn't capable of sending/receiving data and/or phonecalls, it's fine.
Typically this mode is called "airplane" mode, and allows the user to use the other functions of the phone (games, music, camera, etc.)

I loved it when I was put under for wisdom tooth surgery. One minute the doctor was asking me if I was nervous, and the next thing I remember is a nurse pulling gauze out of my mouth and replacing it with fresh stuff. That was an hour later.

I bought a Sony Bravia 40" (KDL-40V2500) LCD 1080p about a year ago and love it. My main restriction was size (couldn't be larger than 40" in the space I wanted to put it) and the Sony was the nicest TV in the 37" - 40" range.
I'm also looking at a smaller TV, both for the bedroom and for the living room, and kinda have my eye on the Vizio line that can be bought at Walmart. They're a 720p TV without alot of bells and whistles....just appear to be a good basic TV.

If you make/reload your own ammo, then I would not suggest a Glock. It not only voids the lifetime warranty, it also increases your chances of a kb! (kaboom! - uncontrolled detonation - basically blowing the cartridge and gun apart) due to the lack of support around the cartridge while it's in the breach.Marlboroman82 wrote:
