Unsure as to why I felt compelled to make an appearance here tonight.
It seems ridiculous. So many of the people I felt I knew have been and gone.
As sad as it sounds, BF2S was a big part of my life back in the day.
It started out as a gaming forum. I'm sure I joined to ask the most mundane of questions and got flamed to fuck.....
In the end there were so many characters... Opinions from every corner of the world!
I miss it... and I'd like to think that I learned a lot from all of your ramblings.
Even though 99% won't read this, I hope that everyone I've communicated with on here over the years have grown into successful, witty, generous and handsome human beings.
Have an amazing, peaceful New Year.
Love from Switch, AKA Luke.

I agree, never a red, but Pulis banging on about the lad being a cheat is bad form.
Maybe he doesn't know that Meyler has just recovered from two career threatening knee injuries and was well within his right to stay down and get checked out by the club Doctor.

I'm at the point where I need to negotiate a truce between the Imperials and Stormcloaks. Does anyone know if I can still join the Legion or the rebellion later in the game if I get both sides to call a truce?

Does anyone know the level at which leveled items reach their maximum potential?
I don't want to do a quest at level 20 and get Mehrunes' Razor for example, only to find out it maxes out at level 30.

It's called time dilation.CC-Marley wrote:
Doesn't time move slower the further you are from Earth? Or faster? I forget which.
Time is relative, according to Einstein's theory.
When it comes to velocity time dilation, the faster you travel, time slows down relative to everything not moving as quickly.
Gravity also has an affect on time. The closer you are to a gravitational mass, the slower time goes relative to everything else. If you had one atomic clock on Earth and one on Jupiter, time would tick away more slowly on Jupiter because it is more massive.
In theory, someone in the event horizon of a black hole could observe the universe through 'life and death', whilst only seconds pass relative to them.

Speed of light 'broken' by scientists
Even still, it would be another triumph for science. Science is always asking questions, even of itself. Evolution.
Einstein won't be turning in his grave, put it that way.
Exciting times we live in.
If this turns out to be real, and I'm a bit sceptical at the minute, then it'll blow the doors off physics. The Telegraph wrote:
It was Albert Einstein, no less, who proposed more than 100 years ago that nothing could travel faster than the speed of light.
But last night it emerged that the man who laid the foundations for the laws of nature may have been wrong.
The science world was left in shock when workers at the world’s largest physics lab announced they had recorded subatomic particles travelling faster than the speed of light
If the findings are proven to be accurate, they would overturn one of the pillars of the Standard Model of physics, which explains the way the universe and everything within it works.
Einstein’s theory of special relativity, proposed in 1905, states that nothing in the universe can travel faster than the speed of light in a vacuum. But researchers at the CERN lab near Geneva claim they have recorded neutrinos, a type of tiny particle, travelling faster than the barrier of 186,282 miles (299,792 kilometers) per second.
The results have so astounded researchers that American and Japanese scientists have been asked to verify the results before they are confirmed as a discovery.
Antonio Ereditato, spokesman for the researchers, said: “We have high confidence in our results. We have checked and rechecked for anything that could have distorted our measurements but we found nothing.”
Scientists agree if the results are confirmed, that it would force a fundamental rethink of the laws of physics.
John Ellis, a theoretical physicist, said Einstein’s theory underlies “pretty much everything in modern physics”.
Even still, it would be another triumph for science. Science is always asking questions, even of itself. Evolution.

I can definitely see similarities between Carl Sagan and Cox. I've never seen The Cosmos, but I might have a look.
I really enjoyed episode three, best one of the series so far. Gutted that episode four is the last one.
Kmar, if you're enjoying this series you should get a hold of Wonders of the Solar System.

Did anyone else watch Wonders of the Solar System? Easily the most awe inspiring documentary I've ever seen.

I really couldn't believe it when I read it.
Granted his all round game isn't the greatest, but as an out-and-out proven premier league goalscorer there aren't many better. That said, the money is insane.
Anyway, the two faced cunt is gone and we have a huge sack of cash to find a replacement, that won't happen until the next transfer window though. He really shafted the only supporters that idolised him since his Charlton days.
What a strange season. So hard to tell who's going to be relegated this time round, everyone beating anyone.

Fucking hell, I'll be 40 by the time England's next chance to host the World Cup comes around.

We aren't subsidising his wages. Because he didn't request a transfer he was entitled to a hefty loyalty bonus. This bonus, coupled with a substantial signing on fee by Stoke offsets any loss of earnings for the player. All in all he will be on about the same, Kenwyne is happy and Stoke didn't have to break their wage structure to sign him.coke wrote:
From what I can gather he's taken a paycut as in we don't pay as much as Sunderland did, but they are subsidising his wages so he still gets paid about the same so even more of a bargain.SEREVENT wrote:

was he not first choice for sunderland then?
Yeah not sure he got on too well with Steve Bruce and they simply didn't play in the style that would get the most from him, whereas with Stoke now having Etherington and Pennant on the flanks to provide with crosses, along with Rory's throws provide Jones with the perfect service for him to score plenty of goals.
Bruce explained it in one of those sporting dinners at the Stadium of Light.
About that, they sacked him for turning up to work pissed every morning
Former England midfielder Paul Gascoigne has been appointed the new manger of non-league club Garforth Town.
How long this will last before he turns up pissed?
Raoul Moat for assistant manager?

The goal was scored at exactly 4 minutes and 11 seconds into injury time. I think they add on a further 15 seconds for every corner and we got a couple of corners in injury time.11 Bravo wrote:

I've never known such a limp performance result in such a one sided scoreline. England play the most drab football imaginable.
