Bollocks, was working all day so couldn't catch the match 3 points behind isn't TOO bad though.
More pissed off that we've dropped 6 points and conceded 9 already after the defensive record we had last year.

perch is nowhere near good enough for the premiership, taylor should be playing until simpson is fit... if we can't beat the likes of stoke then it's going to be a real struggle to stay up

who?
Kenwynne Jones, £8 million yes please, fookin' bargain
didn't he take a pay cut as well... stoke must be a nice place to live
was he not first choice for sunderland then?

Bent was, but Fraizer Campbell normally came on for Kenwynne AFAIKSEREVENT wrote:

From what I can gather he's taken a paycut as in we don't pay as much as Sunderland did, but they are subsidising his wages so he still gets paid about the same so even more of a bargain.SEREVENT wrote:

Yeah not sure he got on too well with Steve Bruce and they simply didn't play in the style that would get the most from him, whereas with Stoke now having Etherington and Pennant on the flanks to provide with crosses, along with Rory's throws provide Jones with the perfect service for him to score plenty of goals.
what did that cunt tevez have written on his shirt after he scored his goal?
and fuck you everton how dare you take our spot

We aren't subsidising his wages. Because he didn't request a transfer he was entitled to a hefty loyalty bonus. This bonus, coupled with a substantial signing on fee by Stoke offsets any loss of earnings for the player. All in all he will be on about the same, Kenwyne is happy and Stoke didn't have to break their wage structure to sign him.coke wrote:

Bruce explained it in one of those sporting dinners at the Stadium of Light.
Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.
