I will be voting Conservatives proudly. Time is well and truly up for the tossing Labour Party, 13 years of completely sledgehammering the economy and society into the mess its in today...Spiralling national debt, half a billion pounds is borrowed by Britain PER DAY....its ludicrous. COnservatives, regardless of how similar people may think they are to Labour, at least promise change, an opportunity, perhaps, to get out of this mess. Labour's message about sticking with this path until next year? Just not worth the risk in my eyes.
Lib Dems are obviously looking quite good in Britains eyes following the debate. If Cameron or Brown had the balls to tackle Clegg on his weak manifesto the whole Lib Dem ideal solution would have come crumbling down - if a hung parliament wasn't on the cards I'm sure we would have seen this. I'm sorry but I completely disagree with the Lib Dems policy to scrap our nuclear deterrent. Clegg claimed that the time of the Cold War is over and there is no need for nuclear weapons...how out of touch is this man? Currently Iran and North Korea - countries led by batshit insane men - are accelerating their nuclear research. A nuclear deterrent is vital if Britain wants to remain a big player in global politics. He also wants to give Britain the Euro, which frankly I am utterly against. As a matter of national heritage I think we should stick with the pound. (If Greece goes arse up anyway the Euro will become trash)
People accuse David Cameron of only caring about the rich and being a slimy tosser, but I feel they are too prejudiced against him for his upbringing. Hell, Nick Clegg went to a secondary school just as prestigious as Camerons, yet no one victimizes him for it.
I urge all UK forum users to thoroughly research each parties views and policies - and seeing if they conform with their beliefs - before making a decision, not just going by who "won" a debate.
TL;DR: Don't vote Labour. Make sure you research the policies of the party you are considering voting for.
