There was a time when I was a true tank person... then I found out that infantry combat is much more fun and challenging... Then I installed Patch 1.2
1. You can't work as a true medic now, by the time you prone to revive, you're dead.
2. You can't move anywhere because claymore are everywhere.
3. You'll porbably get sniped with a PKM if you reach an enemy flag.
4. When you spawn, an enemy grenade will kill you, tossed from across the map.
5. Tanks are now unchallenged by airplanes and helicopters... mmmm tank people
6. If the get into an aircraft or helicopter, you'll probably get sniped right away by the M90... From the other side of the map.
1) You should, if at all possible, remove the enemy threat before reviving. Nothing is more irritating than to get killed by an MG (or, w/e) then be revived by a medic that didn't shoot the MG'er and then be killed by the MG'er then revived, killed, revived, and so forth. For the love of God! Let me die in peace and stop destroying what K/D ratio I have for that game! Or, take a couple of seconds and eliminate the threat first.
2) This is where teamwork comes into play...if you're not on a squad, join one. The squad leader should never be the first one up a ladder or into an alley, just in case there's a claymore...especially if no medic is around. That way, if you die, you can respawn on your squad leader and continue on now that the claymore has been neutralized.
3) Ensure the area is secure before attempting to capture the objective. Don't just blindly run into a CP.
4) If possible, pick a new spawn...if not, just hope for the best and run your a$$ off as soon as you spawn.
5) Two or three decent AT soldiers can eliminate most tanks within a matter of seconds.
6) C'mon...it's not THAT bad. I've had my AA sights on choppers that were just out of range, but, I had a clear view of.
