Chinese Sniper Rifle=Worst
thats coz you fail with it
The Type-88 is probably the gun I have the most fun with these days. I like the super-thin crosshairs, and it's decently accurate.
Other PLA guns:
Spec-Ops: Fantastic, love the g36c, but if I couldn't use an unlock I'd hope I'm on PLA
Assault/Medic: Not much experience, but it seems decent
Engineer: It's a Pump. Do I need to say anything else? excellent
Support: I really never played support til I got the PKM. I'll try this gun out tonight and get back
Anti-Tank: Awful. I aboslutely despise this gun. I'd rather try to snipe people with the DAO
I also really like the PLA pistol. I don't know why, it just lines up easier for me, resulting in more kills.
Also, I totally agree with whoever was advocating a PLA city map. I'd play it non-stop.
For MEC:
Spec-Ops: Meh, nothing special
Sniper: Never got the hang of it. I know people love it, and the scope is cool, but it doesn't work for me.
Ak-101: Good gun
Support: Rarely used, but it is a solid performer.
Engineer: 2nd most fun after type-88. Only 7 shots, but 7 clips, which makes it good for killing that one spec ops eye'n your tank while you're repairing
AT: probably the best stock one. I'd still pick DAO
USMC:
Spec-Ops: I prefer the g36, but it isn't bad
Sniper: When I'm in the sniping mood on US, I pick the m24, unless it's a chopper map (m95). The L96 is just too lame these days. Everybody uses it, and to me, it's just an m24 reskin.
M-16: I have no desire to use this gun. It just doesn't do it for me.
M249: The reason I never used to play support, this gun scarred me when I was a noob. Weak, inaccurate (was then). Haven't touched it since.
Engineer: Pump shotgun= good
AT: Nothing special
Also, to the original post, I think most people have US as their favorite because it's on every map. As I collect chopper time, I'll probably end up primarily PLA, because the Z-10 is by far my favorite. True, it doesn't have the super-cannon of the MEC chopper, or the handling and tight dumbfire rockets of the USMC, but it does the job, and if you've been flying the Z-10, you're ready to fly anything.
