Thanks, I read through the whole thing.
Few comments:
I think they learned their lesson on a few of the badges. Examples:
1) Armor Expert 50 hours. Maybe it's a little light now, but at least it isn't 400.
2) Expert Engineer Excellence: 15 repair points. Doable in a game and you still might be able to do something else. I'm not looking forward to the expert in BF2 when I get the time.
3) Gold Air Defense: 30 kills, 20 was pretty easy in the Linebacker on Daqing...
4) Gold Collectors: Added an IAR requirement. Thank you! No noobs more noobs spawning after a patch and getting their expert knife.
5) I thought the requirements for the army-specific medals were rather high, then I realized there are only 2. 300 wins probably isn't that much when it comes down to it.
Questions:
1) Medic Excellence Silver/Gold: Hours with hub? Is that deployed or in your hands? I'm going to laugh if I find people hiding on the maps somewhere with a medic hub out.
2) The pins all look pretty reasonable, except for the "Close Combat" one. The shotgun is an unlock, and while it looks sweet (read Pump), I doubt they'll be handing out a ton of these.
Overall, it seems like things are finally balance out pretty well, with badges at least, that the bronze is do-able when you first start to play, but it's going to take significant work to get the gold. I never got to play the beta, but from my understanding, according to the req's for Titan Destruction Achievement Gold, you basically have to do the whole thing yourself minus one console? I look forward to the challenge.
