Proof? Check the DLC.
They just need to add the pistol in the buying menu. It is much easier than making new modes or adding new maps and scenarios.
This probably would only be like less than 200kb patch. lol

BTW, you do not have to carry an item all the time to use it at particular situation. When a new area loads (as in after the load screen, you can press Start button and Restart the game. This will bring you to the item management screen and when you resume to play, it will bring you back to the spot.

You can actually shoot at point blank range until he raises chainsaw, then run past him to his right (so your left). Repeat this and easy kill.

The only problem I have with the game is the controller sensitivity.
It just does not feel right. I had to max out the sensitivity on both X and Y but still it feels weird.

I was very disappointed with HAWX.
The only selling point of the game for me was 3rd person mode, so called "Assistance Off mode" (why the hell is this assistance off?), and the Tom Clancy (ish) story. Judging from playing the demo, 3rd person mode flying was decent at best.It basically felt like Ace Combat 6 with flares (which is basically useless unless flying a super low agility planes) with dumbed down graphics.
I have always liked the Ace Combat, but the storyline were a little cheesy. I hope the storyline for HAWX is good at least.
I probably end up buying the game but I just can not drop the disapointment.

If you have Xbox 360, it is better to lay it horizontally. I have had RROD and had to do some surgery to this thing to fix it.
Microsoft has made a fundamental flaw in the system by placing air intake on the right hand side of the Xbox 360. This means that when it is placed vertically, air intake faces the floor, which restricts air flow drastically. Not to mention the horribly designed 'X' clamp which causes more trouble rather than to cool down the processors and clamp them down at the same time.

Out of those three, you should rent and play both Assasin's Creed and Bio Shock. However, since they are just single player campaigns, I do not think they are that much worth of buying.
Halo 3 would last you longer since multiplayer experience is not bad, even now I play it once in a while. Also, it is one of those games that you would play if somebody comes over and wants to play a game with you.

Many sports that has heavy physical contact with another player, or military, usually trains a person in pain tolerance. It is not about feeling less pain, but to move on without your brain saying stop when the pain is still lingering inside the body.

I have loved both games.
I am not sure whether I prefer one over the another, but I have thoroughly enjoyed both games.
If you can afford to get the game, go ahead and get it. It is one of those games that you would not regret on getting.

Out of those three, Fallout 3 and LBP are far above MC:LA.
I have heard many promising things about LBP, but I have not had any first hand experience of it.
Fallout 3, on the other hand, despite all the hype about it, I was not duly impressed that much about this game. It is a good game no doubt though.

I guess it just depends on number of factors.
1. How closely I pay attention to the details in the book
2. Interest level / concentration level
3. Things to do (other than reading)
If the book does not have much literature value, but I have general interest in the book and do not have much other things to do, I can finish the book in about a day and a half.

It is even easier to use pirated software on consoles. Unlike PC, where people have to at least get crack or image every patch it is released, in console, as long as you crack the code once, every pirated software is easily used.Machine_Madness wrote:
It will survive, but piracy is a major factor why companies go towards console releases. If they find a way to keep piracy minimal, they have won.
I know a games developer, and I asked him why doesnt his company make games on PC. He replied saying that they would LOVE to make games on PC, as it allows more work and things dont have to cut down, but piracy issues really spook the executives.
IMO as much as we all love piracy, its killing what we love, PC gaming.
Go to Hong Kong, or China (they are same country but whatever) and see how the pirated consoles are doing. It is selling better than PC.
have you ever tried using orb.com? I have used it and it seems to work fine.

I have seen people complain about the storyline of the MGS4 but it is by far not as complicated as many of the good thriller books out there.

I think Xbox is basically a PC in a box...
So unless it is essential for you to play those CoD4 and GoW with your Xbox friends, use that money to go and get some upgrades for your PC, or get PS3.

Ya. That is one hell of an annoying issue, especially in HC. Where single shot from pistol can kill. Also, I do not think the problem has been fixed since I just experienced this just few nights ago when playing CoD4.weasel_thingo wrote:
My main problem with Last stand is that they are invicible for a second or two, while they can shoot you, you can't damage them. Unless they fixed that in a patch as I havn't played on the most recent one yet.
Somehow this patch stopped the annoying 8002ad23 error that was popping up every 10 min.
I think the reason for the boost of sale of Diablo 2 at the moment is due to the Diablo 3.
I think this is just a matter of personal preference. Also, I have had mixed experience with using either RDS or ACOG on different types of guns.
I personally tend to not use ACOG on guns that does not have rifle drift (sway) since adding ACOG adds the drift (e.g. M16, G3, M14...).

I am not sure why it happened but a lot of my friends have had that happen too.

For me it is just the matter of taking longer or just more annoying to kill. Not really the difficulty of the boss that matters.
1. Wolf (just takes the longest)
2. Mantis (no kill playthrough is annoying with this one)
3. Octopus (takes long enough, but not that long)
4. Raven (Just pump her full of lead poisoning)
5. Shortest boss ever... Vamp (SVD HS FTW)

I believe that the game has not set anything higher level. However, I do believe that this is one of more solid games that I have played competitively and was genuinely satisfied with.
One thing that I have major complaint is that the game is originally designed to house small number of players per map. Also, on PC version, many public servers seem to set its player limit pretty high meaning it becomes cluster fuck pretty fast. But private servers or small servers seem to do well.

One shot will knock her down but this does not do as much damage as three headshot from SVD which knocks her down on the third shot which gives more damage.
You can obtain both Bandana and Stealth through playing a 'Perfect' game, meaning 0 kills, 0 alerts, and 0 continue.
Bandana just requires 0 kills
Stealth requires 0 alert. <- this is not that hard.
