The storyline is the best so far for any video game.
Gameplay wise, it might be. But MGS4's is totally different than the other ones so we will see.

MGS4; I've been a long time fan of the MGS series, but didn't really get into GTA until #3 came out, and even then I've still only played GTA3 and SA, but I've played all the Metal Gear Solids and have the limited edition crap too.
i love MGS but something about playing GTA4 on my PS3 just makes me feel like a child on christmas morning.

They are both good in their own ways, but I have to give higher score to MGS4.
I have seen people complain about the storyline of the MGS4 but it is by far not as complicated as many of the good thriller books out there.

MGS4 was fun when I went through it the first time. That's about it. I'm still playing GTA 4 alot. More than any other game. I recently bought BF:BC but I've already shelved that back for GTA 4 and sometimes F1:CE. I hardly even play GT5 these days either.
I replayed the 1st game the other day, and despite being 10 years old, its still friggin awsm. It still beats a lot of other newer games for gameplay, characters and story.StormEye wrote:
