I gave them 5 stars. Compared to the numerous douche admins infesting bf2 and playing G-d, SF is very mature and fair.
Low ping = guaranteed hit with missile.
Otherwise use guns and spam a few missiles, one may hit. The thing is before the 1.3 patch most dog fights were with guns. So if you have some experience with that utilize it.

I totally understand what Sarge is saying. But personally I don't like to stoop to peoples' levels. I've done it on several occasions, although very rare, and I didn't like at all doing it.
If players will continue with this attitude we can all wish BF2 to RIP. Better to set an example where you can.

Personally I'd like to see a stat which shows what type of plane and how much time each pilot has used it.
"Failed"
sorry, I meant min/sec.
cmon how is that possible 56 hours and 42 minutes lolchittydog wrote:

Good job snake, you da man!
All I can say is WOW!
The Mig is by far the best plane and is a sexy beast that serves also as a great bomber with very accurate guns. The j-10 any nubtalicious nubcake n00b can fly, shoot 3 missiles and down another plane, horrible bomber. The eurofighter flies like a hang glider and it's guns are very inaccurate. F-35 is very maneuverable, and a good bomber but unfortunately the hit box is to large. F-18 is also a good plane.
My vote is for the Mig.

I hate to burst your bubble but being a general in a game is meaningless. If anything people will be childish and type foolish and derogatory statements at you.officer_matt wrote:
I got my promotion today, but i was a little disappointed because i got only 1 Star General not 2 Star. I have all the badges required, but not enough playtime. So i guess one gets punished for a decent SPM^^
Discuss.
SF runs a very good server with alot of nice guys/gals in their clan. I play there from time to time but rotation is a little to monotonous for me.
This isn't true. The Su39 can out climb the a-10, meaning the climbing radius is higher with the Su. Hence the a-10 is an easy target to gun down with the Su's powerful guns.Snake wrote:
Ditto. The Su39 has a hard time pulling up and is poor on the steep climbs.
You should try 16 man, 48 player taraba quary. No planes, massive tank battles, lots of fun. Downside is that it doesn't last as long as larger maps.

Thomas go to bed, NOW!
I had fun readng this thread. I am an admin on a server and I can definatelly tell you that it's very difficult to 100% police a server and be 100% fair with all the pubbers. If you're a good admin, you'll try to respect ALL players, regardless of rank or age or whatever. There are servers with rules and no rules, to each his own.
Anyway I remember a long time ago I was kicked for flying the j-10 on laidbackcrew's server. So I hopped on their TS an asked them why was I kicked. The funny thing is the guy who kicked me went on and on on how I was "shooting infantry" with the j-10. I was speechless and needless to say very much enteratined lol. Anyway I told them that I wasn't here to start a fight and that I was just curious and left politely.

Bombing takes practice, use your views to determine how close you were to the target. As far as everything else; it all comes down to situational awareness. I rarelly use the same angle of approach and never bomb an aa head on.
Personally, I enjoy flying the fantom the most. It's dificult to maneuver and hard to bomb. The guns are very powerfull and are very usefull in taking the mobile aa's health before bombing.
+1 FeedUs for your time and usefull post.

Israel ATTACKED first.
Why does everyone hate the Jews? I don't know. ?
Israel is our ally in this War but it is " Their War " fought for and over them. It would be cheaper and better for all if we made it so people didn't feel being a suicide bomber was the best or only course of action a they had.
The American Indian would have employed suicide bombers if they had access to the technology.
Its the act of the very desperate.
Seven Arab nations attacked Israel in 1947; Egypt against Israel in 1956, four nations attacked her in 1967, Egypt attacked in the 1970 War of Attrition; two attacked in 1973; and there was a prolonged Arab assault from Lebanon in 1982. Arab nations - even those at peace with Israel - routinely refer to Israel as the aggressor; but Israel has not once initiated war on another state. Even the 1982 invasion of Lebanon was to defend against ceaseless Arab bombardments of northern Israel by Katyusha rockets.
"Why does everyone hate the Jews? I don't know. ?"
Most the people I know don't hate the Jews and in fact respect them for their contributions to our country.
"The American Indian would have employed suicide bombers if they had access to the technology."
I respectfully disagree with you. A noble race of people such as the American Indian and reducing them to murderers?
Many claim that the Palestinians use terrorism as an understandable and legitimate weapon against Israeli occupation.
However, there can never be any justification for the deliberate murder and threatinng of innocent civilians to exact political concessions. The only way to effectively fight terrorism is on an international scale, to view all terrorist equal and not to differentiate good and bad terrorist. The biggest success terrorists have had is by getting people to accept the idea that "one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fight".
There is always an alternative to terrorism. Just take a look at the great leaders of the 20th centruy. They fought for their people and rejected terrorism and attacks on civilians. Martin Luther King, Ghandi and Nelson Mandella all achieved their aims through other methods. There can never be an excuse for terrorism.
morbess, great post.
This has been a very big point for many people worldwide. I'd like to add the following 3 points.
1. Terrorism
2. Israel in the middle east
3. America's support for Israel
1. Many claim that the Palestinians use terrorism as an understandable and legitimate weapon against Israeli occupation.
However, there can never be any justification for the deliberate murder and threatinng of innocent civilians to exact political concessions. So when you ask "Israel had been Established Elsewhere would Arabs still Be Terrorist?" the question is moot. Regardless of whether Israel has the right to to exist in Israel, there can never be an excuse for terrorism.
2. Another point that some people believe is that Israel doesn't belong in the middle east or she has no right to exist. All that she is the cause of instabilty to the region.
Israel does belong in the middle east because for almost 2000 years of exile from the land of Israel, the Jews never forgot their link to the region and regularly talked of return to Israel. In fact, this desire is protrayed in many of the Jewsih prayers and direction of prayer ( facing East towards Jerusalem) There have been Jews living continuously in Israel for over 2000 years. When the early zionistic movement was offered a homeland for Jews in Africa by the British, the offer was rejected because there was no authentic link to the land that was offered.
There is plenty of instability in the middle east that isn't connected with Israel. The Iran/Iraq war. The internal violence between secularlists and islamist in Egypt. The Iranian revolution and the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait are just a few examples. Israel is used as an excuse and diversion by regimes that do not want to face up to their difficulties.
3. Last point is with regard to Americas support for Israel, that it lead to wide spread resentment in the middle east and America suffered the 9/11 attacks because of her.
The only link between Israel and America on 9/11 is that both countries are victims of militan islamic terrorism. In order to understand fundementel Islamic terrorism you must understand their motivation. These groups do not seek national independence but rather to put the world under Islamic rule. People misunderstand that it is not because of America's support for Israel that she is a target of muslim terrorism. The reverse is true, America is reffered to as the "great satan" and Israel as the "little satan". It is what our great country represents that fules there anger, democaracy. And Isreal because it is seen as americas proxy in the middle east. Even if Israel did not exist america would still be targeted by islamic terrorist. Even Osama bin laden initially played down the connection between the US and Israel. His attack on america was aimed at getting US forces out of saudi arabia. The presence of american forces there help to prevent exteremists from gaining power there and in several other islamic countries. Bin laden also rejected US forces from being in Saudi Arabia for religious reasons. Another interesting note is that many agree that the planning of the 9/11 attacks took many years. In other words, planning took place while Israel and the PLO were negotiation a peace agreemnt, the oslo accords.

no, I'm referring to when you press the C key 3 times to get a "fly by" view. I want to bind the fly by to my joystick. I'm not sure if it's possible.washow wrote:

i guess you can do that if you can set your joystick's POV buttons to work as mouse like mine
but just assign key for rear view.. better that way

yes, I know how to bind a key. However, I cannot locate the bind to assign the "fly by view" in the controls options.washow wrote:
