Sometimes it's impossible to see your speed or altitude when looking into the white sky because the HUD is green. Is it possible to change the hud color on the F32B from green to red (or some other color). I would greatly appreciate any info.
Wow... obviously someone didn't know how to dogfight in 1.12. In 1.12 I could take down any jet in a matter of seconds (it really wasn't that hard). Now they just noobified the Air to Air AA so all you need is uber leet double click skillz!!!!1111one.Mj.Blindfisch wrote:
In 1.12 the jets were owning the place because:
- The pilots of each team just bombed the shit out of the other team and had a silent contract not to fight each other...maybe it was because of crappy air to air missiles which made dogfighting just annoying.
- The AA was so crappy that nobody thought about sitting in one and if one did he was a free kill for the jetwhore.
- There was no real threat for a jet except for another jet but no dogfighting going on(crappy missiles).
Now,in the new and improved 1.2 it's well balanced:
- The AA is now capable of taking down a jet which approaches at an bad angle(every map has good and bad spots for bombing runs,if you didn't know that you are not the 1337-pilot you think you are) or just flies skyhigh aimlessly.
- Dogfighting is now like it should be,if you let someone behind you you're done.
I can't stand these jetwhore-whiners anymore,if the AA is too strong for you now you've never been a good pilot, just a guy who can bomb carriers and never got into real sticky situations which require flying skills to get out of.
And now that you cry-babies have to adapt and there actually is a challenge in flying a jet(rather than just racking up easy kills) you post ridiculous threads about how unfair the game has now become for jetwhores.
"Boo-hoo,racking up easy kills and having 60/1 kills and a gold medal every round isn't possible anymore. My poor K/D-ratio goes down the drain,my clanmates won't respect me and think I'm 1337 anymore. Please EA,make the new evil patch go away and give me back my godlike jet so I can pwnzor again and don't have to pick up some real skills!"
I just hope this gives the new patch whiners an ulcer..
lol... AA crack missiles at their finest.
These missiles act so erratic... I wonder if it possible to hit yourself with your own missile?

ill adapt hopefully (haven't played the new patch yet)... I haven't died in a jet in a week my 500 kill streak will live on even if I have to be more cautious.
I hate that so much... wtf is with ppl hugging a damn APC??? I also hate when one of my missles happens to hit that friendly blackhawk that is smoking and full of ppl.the_outsider38 wrote:

I haven't gotten teamkills from dropping bombs for awhile (except for that time yesterday when 3 guys ditched their chopper and landed in the middle of 7 ppl ) Atleast only one of them punished.
If the assualt class dies I will be happy... because when im another class and have 1 bar of health left then someone might actually heal me or if I am out of ammo someone might give me ammo. Too many times in this game I have chased down medics and resupply ppl to have them give me some health or ammo.
There have also been times when ppl call for a medic or ask for ammo and they fucking run away from me.

CS is by far the most hacked game.
I've only run into one guy that hacked and he was using the commander hack which allowed him to drop arty/supplies/uavs whenever he wanted. Basically he first was dropping arty on us every second and once we blew up his arty he started dropping supplies every second to repair the arty.

I was trying to argue that about some forms of padding and exploiting... but EA has it so you might not interpret it as padding but they might.RandomZer0 wrote:
Actually you are reading it that way, but the ROE says nothing about that, so maybe you should write EA and tell them their only official documentation regarding this matter is incomplete. FF can be turned off on ranked servers, until they change that, its just something we have to deal with.
Again if you play on FF on servers, like EA recomends for all of its ranked servers (though does NOT require) than you get everything that comes along with it, who wouldnt be specops on those servers when you wont kill yourself or your team with C4. Using explosives on a FF off server is glitching to me, but not to the ROE, and we dont make the rules we just play by them
So basically they have it setup so they can screw you on anything because anything could be exploiting the game if EA thought it was.
cyberwolf... how do we know it was o a ranked server?

Getting kicked without a warning sucks... but If you curse like crazy you deserve to be kicked.
I hope my points go through or thats like 1000 points down the drain (along with 5 vet. bf2:sf medals)
Ya I wish there was more teamwork too.
But talking about commanding... I was playing on a server yesterday with a squad that actually worked together, but I didn't listen to the commander. You know why... because every damn second he would issue the same order again. Who the fuck would listen to someone that spams fucking attack this every second (no exageration).

So what gives a clan server the ability to say "No Spawn Camping" or "No artillering the main base". This game was not mean't to be fair, for crying out loud this is a WAR game, not some little 5 year old's game where you take turns killing each other. This game is about winning and do what it takes to win. What I mean is if you want to go bomb the other teams runway to keep them from taking off, then by all means do it. I don't care about the padders (0h N0ES tHeY sT0LeD mY g0LdZ mEdAlZ)... hackers are the ones that deserve their accounts reset/cd keys banned/ips banned/hardware banned from all servers (well they do get a guid ban but I don't think that actually bans their cd key... i might be wrong though).flyinlow wrote:

It's just a game, but it's more fun when everyone plays fair.
If everyoned played as a team then no one would care about the other problems of the game because they would be too busy owning everyone. I love teamwork in BF2... too bad its extremely rare

Have you ever played a game of pistols and knives in Counterstrike? When the game was released I saw those servers and thought "hey that sounds like fun" and joined and played those games. Having more points doesn't give you an advantage except for being a commander and EA doesn't care about that because then they would make the wait times a mandatory minute or something.
Anyone could say that blahblahblah has an advantage because they have more points, but even if you earned those points without padding you could still lose them because of this term in the TOS.

I think you should have to agree to it like a regular EULA/TOS (you know the ones that you actually have to press agree for). Then I will "Give it a rest".1. GLOBALLY ENFORCED RANKED SERVER RULES
These are rules that all admins/players using ranked servers are expected to observe and are set by EA under the EULA.
a. You may not arrange for the exchange or transfer of any pirated software or other contraband while you are on our servers or these Services, this will lead to immediate ban.
b. You may not market, promote or advertise anything, or make any other form of solicitation (including pyramid schemes and chain letters) on any of our services. Clan recruiting is not prohibited.
c. You may not change (hack) any core game files or employ external programs or cheats for the purposes of giving yourself an unfair advantage over other players.
d. Server admins may not change any game settings defined as standard for ranked servers (ticket ratios, server password, round time, etc.)
e. Server admins may not explicitly or implicitly (by actions) enforce restrictions on vehicles or weapons that players can use while on your server (e.g. knives only, aircraft prohibited except for clan members, etc.)
f. Server admins may not explicitly or implicitly (by actions) enforce restrictions on roles or kits that players can use while on your server e.g. Commander, Squad Leader, Spec Ops, etc.)
g. Server admins may not use non-standard maps or modified versions of standard maps.
h.Players may not use or exploit game mechanisms to artificially boost their scores ("stats padding") and Server admins may not knowingly allow or encourage this activity on their servers.
i. Players may not Impersonate EA ADMINS.
2. EA OFFICIAL PUBLIC SERVER RULES
These are rules that EA official server admins enforce to maintain friendly, disciplined servers and are in addition to the global rules defined above.
a. You may not use any offensive or sexually explicit language in chat or voice mode. Not adhering to this rule will result in a warning followed by a kick or ban.
b. You may not use foul or slanderous language involving race, gender, sexual preference, religion or creed. Not adhering to this rule will result in a warning followed by a kick or ban.
c. You may not deliberately hinder your own team by Team-killing, destroying friendly vehicles or assets, or acting in such as way as to cause team mates unavoidable deaths or team-kills.
Not adhering to this rule will result in a warning then kick (for wounding or damaging) or an immediate kick or temporary ban for deliberate kills.
d. You may not display abusive behavior towards administrators. If you feel that you have been treated unfairly, you may lodge an appeal on the official forums /ticket system (www.bf2rankedservers.com).
Not adhering to this rule will result in a warning followed by a kick or ban.
3. LOCAL (PRIVATELY RENTED) SERVER RULES
These are rules that are not enforced upon EA's public servers but may be in use upon privately rented servers. These rules are decided by the administrators for those servers and as long as they do not contradict any global rules enforced by EA are considered valid for those servers.
Examples of valid local rules *could* include:
- No artillery fire or bombing runs on main (uncapturable) bases.
- No prolongued or sustained attacks on main (uncapturable) bases (i.e. spawncamping).
- No using the Transport Helicopters to take flags (Blackhawk whoring or flag hopping).

your actually going to sit there and tell me, that when you or others found out that knife pistol revive made your scores very high, that you didnt know it was cheating.teh adam wrote:
what does normal way mean... I think that could be different for every person. Also EA says they could reset your stats if you played on their knife/pistol servers even before they defined stat padding.
Thats sort of unfair considering everything was undefined before that point. Except exploiting which could be just about anything.
give it a rest.,.,.
and the ROE has been around sice the game came out..
And how was I suppose to know how the game was supposed to be played... how was I to know what an average score was for one round? I didn't nor did anyone else. 100-200 points for a pistol/knife round didn't seem to bad compared to the 300+ points people made by blackhawk whoring. I will rest my case when I have to agree to the "BF2 ranked ROE" like I have to for the other EULAs/TOSs.

Players may not use or exploit game mechanisms to artificially boost their scores ("stats padding") and Server admins may not knowingly allow or encourage this activity on their servers.
Ya... glopje boosted his stats. Ohh wait a glitch in EA software did, but EA is perfect so he must have hacked. Seriously though he doesn't seem like an idiot like nitro... he made a whole thread about it explaining it but EA reset his whole account instead of just removing those points.

Power really corrupts people... the guys at www.bf2rankedservers.com think they are gods in the community. They think they are helping it so much.
To get someone's stats reset just photoshop some screenshots and BAM their stats are reset.
Like look at poor glopje he did nothing wrong and the witch hunters at bf2rankedservers think he stat padded/hacked 24,000 thousand points while being commander
EA's reasoning for these reset is also pretty lame "There is no expiry date on padded stats. Should you come under the microscope and have stats that were dishonestly obtained you are likely to be wiped. It is a fairly unforgiving system, but it's a must to keep up with the demand."
Its a must to keep up with the demand... wtf does that mean???

they don't say anything about padding... only one line that says "exploiting" isn't allowed.
I reinstalled the game and tried to find another TOS that was more specific to BF2 but I didn't find it

ya VeNg3nCe^ is a stat padder... this is why he got reset
What a stat padder those 20 points really make a difference.
Im joking if you guys couldn't tell. The witch hunters over at bf2rankedservers are crazy... they accept illegible screenshots. Screenshots themselves could be easily faked.

Come on ppl read... READ!!!! Seriously though no one could stat pad that much. It was a glitch and not his fault.
READ THE POSTS BEFORE ACCUSING HIM OF HACKING... READ!!!!
Here is the link for filing an account suapention/deletion dispute. I would try that first.

I love doing this especially when I have another good pilot flying with me... I blow up their jets/choppers/tanks reload and while I reload the other pilot makes sure they stay grounded and then I come back and he reloads.VeNg3nCe^ wrote:
A jet pilots mission:
1. shoot down the enemy jets
2. Shoot down the enemy choppers
3. Most importantly, KEEP them down on their airfield.
That allows your ground troops to take flags without annoying choppers/jets bombing you every 2 seconds. The only thing that annoys me about this, is when both your jets attack the airfield when you need 1 of your jets killing enemy armor and the other keeping their airforce down.
I leave most of the tanks/apcs to the attack choppers and infantry, but if my team needs help ill take out whats holding them up.
But if you have a good team all they need you to do is keep the choppers/jets off their backs IMO.
Jeez I love when my plane k/d ratio goes down especially when its not my fault. I also hate it when ppl think they can fly and they can't like the pilot who crashed into our UAV building twice because he thought jets our suppose to bomb a foot off the ground (i stopped flying with him shortly after that). I also had a guy in my squad that I flew with because he said he could fly well... we get a missile lock and the first thing he does is deploy the flares and keeps flying straight. (we died but atleast after that he let me fly and we didn't die again).
I also played a round where the enemy gunner thought the best way to bomb was by going slow and low (another lawn mower pilot perhaps)... well lets say they got 2 missiles up the tail pipe.
If you haven't relized it yet planes arn't lawn mowers and if you fly it like one you will die so don't do it.

I never walked into one... its just a pain when you can't get to the top of the TV station.
IF you read I said another person walked infront of me into the claymore getting us both killed.

WTF yesterday I played 5 rounds of warlord and got over 100 points each round, today I quit playing after one round... why?
Because ppl that put claymores on the stairs are retarded. Do you know who is even more retarded... the idiot infront of you that runs into it getting both of you killed.
But back to the real problem... why do ppl put claymores on the stairs. Are the support ppl that stand at both entrances of the stairs not good enough?
