Well I got a thinkpad Edge 13 today. Works very well and is very silent. I installed an Intel SSD in and used the default Hitachi 500GB to put in a media player. The funny thing is I bought a system with 4GB of ram and got 6gb...
Thanks for your response Cheez. The OS was unable to find any drivers and the wifi card had no information so I opened up the notebook and looked for info. I had to use magnifier glass because the letters were so small. After that it was easy to find driver for my model.
Thanks again Cheez

Hey guys I just got a thinkpad edge 13 on AMD platform (K685 cpu) and have installed Win7 ultimate x64 and there is no wifi icon in the taskbar. IN device manager there is a device called "realtek pcie gbe family controller" but its working fine and I don't know if this is the card for wired or also wireless lan. Could this be a win x64 issue as this is the first time I installed a 64 bit OS. This is the lenovo support site: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. … MIGR-74581
I have installed "ThinkPad 802.11bgn Wireless LAN Mini PCI Express Adapter II" but it doesn't work
thanks for any help

so basically like the multiple tabs that can be set to open at startup but in smaller size?liquidat0r wrote:
They stay there automatically when you close/open the browser.
It reloads all the pinned tabs when I restart chrome

-Custom made for our Under Hood Oil/Tool Box (Part#5000), but works well everywhere else
-Great replacement for Rhino & Ranger tool kits
-21" x 10" when open
I haven't found any with the above characteristics
I see. More space is always welcome. Do you always have them pinned or do you unpin them when you close the browser?
anyone know where I could buy this in EU?

I inquired about shipping costs and its twice the product's price.
Nothing of interest on eBay.

Finray why do you have that annoying avatar? It subconsciously makes YOU annoying to me. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaFinray wrote:

what does pinning tabs do actually? Isn't it like bookmarks with the difference that you don't need to open them all the time? Is that it or are there any other benefits?
I'm back on Chrome. It seems customizing the browser to my needs by adding extensions made it slower to startup and load new pages when compared to Chrome.
put windows cd in you drive and do a restore of windows components and settings
FF4 seems much faster than Chrome 11 to me
uu cool, thanks liqliquidat0r wrote:

certainly a very nice spec-wise looking build. I know you have a watercooled pc- is it a lot of hassle to clean and maintain the unit?
valid point Nic. Personally I would invest extra in the Vertex.

I think the price is fantastic considering what you get from other manufacturers at that price. Starting at 225€ in EU for the 120GB. I have paid 200€ for Intel x25 g2 80GB and its 3x slower at reading and 7x slower at writing and it still costs around 170€.Nic wrote:

okay I got it. I went into my router settings, under attached devices and found out that the default ip supplied in the manual and written on the access point was incorrect. I suspect its default ip is already in use by something else and something automatically assigned a different ip. thanks bugz
well I'm and sadly it did not work. I connected the access point straight into my PC using a CAT cable and it still could not connect. Strangely enough the command "ipconfig" also doesn't work.
You mean to connect a PC and access point with a cat5 cable rather than wirelessly through router?ebug9 wrote:
Is there an ethernet port that you can physically plug in to just to do the config?
Hi guys I just received a LevelOne WAP-6011 access point and have an issue with it. I cannot login to its control panel. I've tried Chrome as well as Firefox and tried it with 3 different PCs. I was able to connect to it wirelessly with my Netbook, I was even able to chose to adopt settings from my old Linksys AP. Default ip to access its control panel is:192.168.0.1. When I type this into the browser's address bar it loads and after a while of trying to connect says cannot connect or if I'm offline it says cannot connect to internet. DHCP is enable and set to automatically obtain ip. The included CD only has a manual with no actual setup software. Any help is appreciated. thanks
Okay thanks. I have the "e" version and its great.Ilocano wrote:
I only have the original N52. Macro needed to be installed PC side. But it was definitely my BF2 "keyboard". DPad had my macros. Only KB macros though. It would have been much easier if mouse keys were supported. But configuring was easy as pie. Just start the recorder and press the combo keys you would normally press. You could then edit it to add/remove delays. And then set them to run one time or run a loop. Shape was great. Fitted my hand like a glove. Like an extension of my hand..Sup wrote:
ha you have that Belkin too? Are macros hard to configure?Ilocano wrote:

I just took the G13 out of the box yesterday so I could try it out when the XIM3 arrives. However, it just doesn't have that glove-like feel of the N52. Hoping for the best. If the G13 sucks, I might get the new version of the N52e.
I just bought a WD black 500GB sata III, a Level one access point N standard, and a Wireless USB receiver also N. Can anyone confirm it doesn't matter if my Router is G rated only and that I should be getting (theoretically) full 300Mb/s from access point to the USb receiver? Router is connected to an access point with a cable ofc.
