I'll let you know when I get it. One of the most frustrating things about using an analog stick to snipe is having to tap abouts to get long distance head shots. Hopefully I can use the G13's analog stick for quick turns, and the mouse for precision aiming.FFLink wrote:

I just bought a WD black 500GB sata III, a Level one access point N standard, and a Wireless USB receiver also N. Can anyone confirm it doesn't matter if my Router is G rated only and that I should be getting (theoretically) full 300Mb/s from access point to the USb receiver? Should be fine. I have a similar setup. I think you will need to setup a fixed IP for the AP. Well, at least that is how I have mine setup.
Yes, my main router is still a G. Yeah, I have a couple N routers I could use. But it's a 10 year old or so LinkSys that has yet to fail me. It just runs and runs. Goes for months and months without having to cycle. Unlike the general trash routers they make today.
My setup: DSL modem to G Router. N AP and 8 port GB switch attached to G router. Another 8 port GB switch, a 5 port GB switch, and another N AP attached to that first 8 port GB switch. I'm planning to attach another 5 port GB switch to the G router.

unplug power, replug. It just works. My pre-N AP also pretty much just works. But my latest N AP has to be unplugged/plugged about once every couple weeks. Just doesn't want to connect to the Internet.

I just bought my new computer
Got it yesterday. It's abso-f*cking amazing. PC controls and speed on console. Instant headshot to slow moving targets. Much easier targeting of running targets. Basically, PC control accuracy for console. G500 mouse + PS3 Move Navigator. Seemed to match the 360 button layout better. I got frustrated trying to figure out what keys to assign on the G13. I only tried it for BC2, but I'm sure it'll be even more amazing with BLOPS. I already have the frag for the PS3, and on that, most of my kills were headshots. But this XIM3 is vastly superior.

I use that screen (the 27") at work with my MBP, it's very nice (though I suspect the Dell ones are better, since their high end IPS panels are typically awesome). I really like having the charger lead and all the connectors on the monitor so I can just plug straight into it - but I don't think I'd spend my money on one - even for the price I get them for....
