A problem with that is that the battery terminals on a japanese battery is half as big as the ones on a EU battery. I solved it using some raped starter cable, a bolt from a kick board, and some electrical tape:

Now that's ghetto. I had a laptop with a completely raped screen (the LCD was broken to pieces, useless), and my mum's laptop screen got broken about a year after my laptop's, so i took her slightly broken (one small crack) 15.4" widescreen screen and replaced my old non widescreen screen with it. And taped it on
more pics to follow when i bother installing an O/S on it, it'll be slightly more irritating than usual as the DVD drive in it is broken
