If you have the original OS X install CD, boot from that and do a `repair disk` in Disk Utility (you can open it from one of the menubar items). Failing that, you can also try booting in single user mode and running `/sbin/fdisk_hfs -ypr (disk)` manually -- that has worked for me when Disk Utility wouldn't.JaMrulezass wrote:
try to create a partition. disk error, tells me to go 2 disk utilty and do shit there, did it, it still dosent work.
Debatable semantics. I consider race synonymous to ethnicity, and as we both have said -- humans are a species. But your point is nonetheless valid and affirms my own; you can play up anything you want as racist. I'm more concerned with the fact that you seem to feel that an interpretation equates to belief.Scorpion0x17 wrote:
Just the idea that there are different 'races' can be seen as racist. We are not different races, we are all one race - the human race.xgloryx wrote:
LOL. We, as a species, cannot be free of racism as long as differences exist between races.Scorpion0x17 wrote:
We, as a species, will only be free of racism, when nobody anywhere thinks twice about this Intel ad, or the white PSP one.
They are not, in and of themselves, racist.
As for "bowing down" vs "athletes" there is no right or wrong answer and any person can see both without having any real opinion of either. By your logic, if you see athletes I can draw the conclusion that you have something against people who are not athletic.
LOL. We, as a species, cannot be free of racism as long as differences exist between races. As for you BS about "you only see racism if you are a racist" let me spin that another way for you: a true racist will NOT see racism in this ad because to him there is nothing wrong with black folk bowing down to a white man. See what I did there? Generated some bullshit, just like you.Scorpion0x17 wrote:

Interpretation is not predication.

Fuck phones, all I want to do is call people.
And the best way to use a keypad on your phone is to get one of those foldable keypads, the ones that go with PDA's and Blackberries, because thats the only time you're going to use them, seeing as you phonemonkeys have warped the english language into three letters a word at most.
That may have been my issue as it turns out. I had 'Mod Only' and 'Same version' (or what not) but when I tried a few servers that specifically said 0.6 I was able to get in in each case.Colfax wrote:
Are you going to 0.609 servers? Because Muttrah City is in v0.609 AFAIK. Sure you are going to 0.5 servers.leetkyle wrote:
I am experiencing much more frequent CTD than I was on 0.5. Is anyone experiencing the same problem? I can't load half the maps (inc. Al Basrah, Muttrah City etc) because it just crashes. My drivers are fully updated.
So are the finalists shooting for next weekend now? I don't want to miss this.
I've got the same issue here. I tried a re-install (although, didn't re-download it) and got the same result.leetkyle wrote:

youve been playing for 1000 hours and dont no that?
That's what I typically do. Aim high and fire two the moment I get a lock, usually at least one will hit regardless of flares. But then again, I'm not a very good pilot (:SteikeTa wrote:
Another thing you can do is aim high above and just fire away. Won't lose the lock you have on them when they drop flares.
Haha I noticed that too. Great time for the screenshot (:De_Jappe wrote:

The irony
I can't even count the number of times I've been hit by arty coming out of the guns (often on the very first shot) in helos and jets. My record is two times in one round (on two successive runs with the helo like five minutes apart). I've only hit the UAV a few times in the helo, don't think I ever have in the jet. But yeah, arty > me always.xXDomination wrote:
Edit: Somewhat off-topic, but in the ~120 hours I've been flying I had never been killed when flying through/past artillery. Two days ago I got killed 3 times in one round flying through it, not to mention I hit 2 UAV's in the same round -_-

That doesn't make any sense.
However, "Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo" does (:

"Did You Know?
This is quite an old story, reckoned by folklorists to date back at least 70 years. It's a comedy staple, in fact, having turned up in numerous recordings, radio shows, movies and novels since the 1930s.
It was published as a "True Fact" by National Lampoon in 1986, when it also happened to be circulating as office faxlore. More recently it has been sighted on email joke lists and Websites."

Goodness. I don't know what an "imbessile" is, but you sure are getting your panties in a bunch over *other* people bitching. I'm sure some people aren't reading your post and other people are, but than again why should anyone believe you (or your TV2 admin) anyway? (:Tor77 wrote:
What? Are you guys fucking idiots? Do you only read the first post in a nine-page thread?
This is like reasoning with women and/or children! Ignore the informative parts and just bitch without reason.
Like I said a few posts back, our server guy @ TV2 has direct contact with DICE. THE PROBLEM LIES WITH GAMESPY. THE STATS WILL *MOST LIKELY* NOT BE LOST BUT NOTHING IS YET CONFIRMED! I will come back when/if we get some more info.
God damn imbessiles. Read - reply. How hard is that? Geez.
Hehe, hey I said myself I didn't expect to make it past the first round (: Good luck with the rest of the tourney.
Believe him ):
And there's even video of it (:
I'll take his place if no one is on the reserve list yet (:
I tend to stay out of posting in D&ST but I do read it and my opinions in most cases are quite the opposite of marine's, but my goodness people voting has absolutely no relation to one's freedom of speech. Its amazing how many people try to wed the two. Feel free to ignore those who don't vote, but don't try to tell them they can't say whatever they please.
I've always wanted to see entity-based stats.
For example, bf2s.com/player/(playerid) gives stats based on a player whereas bf2s.com/map/(mapname) would give stats based on a map or bf2s.com/vehicle/(vehiclename) would give stats based on a vehicle.
The data set would obviously be large, sufficiently hard to organize, and only based on players already in the system, but it would be really interesting to see.

You did say Bloomington, right? As a former resident of Terre Haute who spent a lot of time in Bloomington (for reasons obvious to anyone from the area), I can't even remember the number of people I knew who had vehicles broken into there. Sucks that your shit got lifted, but the second I read "Bloomington" in the OP I simply thought "ah, that explains it." (:DrunkenResistance wrote:
