The point is, it means that a certain percentage will buy it before the current build has even been played. Net result: guaranteed sales without dropoff because people whinge publically immediately after release. Can't get a refund if you've downloaded it! No, there's no point. Couldn't play ranked, since your account would be -highly- visible; and if you can't play it ranked, nobody is going to bother to even try. Would just entail a bunch of accounts getting reset/blocked.GR34 wrote:

Uhh, too short? How many games do you usually get 100hrs+ from? I can only think of two I've got that length of playtime out of before getting bored - Morrowind and Oblivion.corce wrote:

Not some half ass pathetic excuse for one ??
EA are some of the biggest retards I have ever seen in the gaming market...Strike that, THEY ARE
the biggest retards. Patches that require their own patches.. No buddy lists on a 2006/7 game title..
punkbuster is a useless sham...hacks that came out 2 weeks after BF2 was released still work to
this day... The longest load times *bf2 out of any game Ive ever seen in 25 years..
Even when EA attempts to give the players what they want they muck it up... IO mode for example
in BF2.. EAs answer to that problem was to simply delete EVERY vehicle on the map.. making
some maps like Wake Island nearly pathetic if desired IO.. Theyre not capable of real solutions..
The jeeps werent the problem, retard EA, people were complaining about the air kiddies and tank
whores.. but again, EA's solution is to put a band aid on broken arms..
pathetic excuse for a gaming publisher, and the worst programmers on the planet.
and forget about support...thats a laughing joke..

Ah, very true yes. I thought of that while I was writing, but figured it was obvious that making rushes for flags in vehicles is still important. I meant specifically -on foot- advancement, not say, in a battlewalker, a tank, or a buggy jeepy thingy...sfarrar33 wrote:

I don't think so. I suspect there is a "tipping point", where stability decreases on either side. Simplifying the matter to more = more stable, less = less stable is just that - simplifying. If all states have nuclear arms, nuclear warfare risks becoming conventional. If no states have nuclear arms, only economic superpowers / those with large volumes of extremely valuable resources can act as stabilising forces. There are pros and cons to both sides, but having no nuclear weapons whatsoever runs the risk that someone else develops them and we're back at square one.Elamdri wrote:
Actually, as more countries develope nukes, the farther we get from nuclear war. Nuclear war is expounded by fewer states having nukes, not more.
...doesn't that rule out the use of nuclear weapons except in tactical form?Part 1, Article 3 wrote:

I don't invite people,if they wanted to be in a squad they'd be in one by now is how i think.
By who invites you. Thus, who is willing to actually do their job. An invite is probably a good sign, not a bad one.
And if there are several fairly full squads, the commander doesn't have to repeatedly shout in the team chat to squad up already. :p
I like to see the floor infront of me for APM's and RDX without some big bold writing in my way.To get rid of it have to take my finger off the mouse to press page down, and as we all know, the mouse is how you turn/fire.

No. You are paying for a license - in this case, a license to use -1- (-one-) DVD copy of the game. A download of a full disc image is a -second- copy, as I said before. Since you already have -1- (-one-) DVD variety license, you can't use the second without buying the license for a second.leetkyle wrote:
If you can prove to authorities you own a game, then it can be counted as just creating a backup. You are legally allowed to download any game with a CD key, as long as you BOUGHT the CD key. You are paying nothing for the box and a disk because some poor Taiwanese 3 year old baby is making them, and the CD-Key printed on the paper by some large fat guy who only eats burgers costs £24.99!Auqakuh2213 wrote:
Also, it is illegal to download a full disc image of a game. It is not illegal to download a mini-image, but mini-images do not work for 2142 - well, they work for some, according to claims, but most can't get em to work (use Google and you'll see what I mean). The reason it is illegal to download a full disc image is because if you have the disc... you can make your own image. If you download a full disc image, you are technically getting a -second original- (which does not count as a protective backup), which you should have to pay for.
Nope... far too much lag and the ground war is more important anyway - in the sense that most people think it isn't important and fight on the Titan. Someone has to cap silos, you know. :pleetkyle wrote:

IMO that's very annoying, especially if I already am in another squad.

It's people like you who give me a positive kill-death ratio with the Bianchi.madmurre wrote:
Bunnyhopping and sniping works pretty well in 2142 try to keep a distance of 80-130m and hop around while spotting enemies once your enemys stands still stop jumping and headshot. With the zoom you hardly ever miss a headshot on a static target.
It´s far easier to snipe in 2142 in my experience since you will score a headshot almost every single time, and as some mentioned above movement is often the key when you snipe not always though.
