Abusive. I tend to break things around me when I die unecessarily.
I agree much more with this manner of thinking. I like the G36e, but not nearly enough to use it exclusively. Once enemies move in closer and accuracy is less important, I'll take the raw power and full auto function of the 101 any day.H3RB4L ABU53 wrote:
I think all the guns are even, the ak101 is better than g36e because its more powerful and the fact you have to know how to shoot (sort of) to get lots of kills with it, g36e is the most noob friendly just because noobs will probably hold down the trigger with most guns, but with g36e you cant you have to fire in burst and its super accurate and fast so anyone can use it, it sort of defies the BF2 physics where with any other gun you have to learn the game and where to shoot etc.
Apart from the g36e I think theyre all fair its just preference like others say, e.g for assault you could either have an accurate m16, or slightly less accurate but more powerful g3- I'm just stating the obvious really dont even know why im posting this lol
Unlocks provide a way to further specialize your kit given whatever situation you are in.
So using the m9 or l96 when my stock is an SVD means I have less skill?
I love the SVD but theres just some situations when its not as useful as a bolt action.

No, they don't suck. They just require changing your playing style to fit different weapon strengthsDrunkenPirate wrote:
All of the unlocks suck in my opinion, use the stock guns and learn them.
These unlocks aren't better guns, they are just alternatives.
DP, using M16's for the last 250,000 points.
If everyone did that then these forums wouldn't be so popular or useful..prototype wrote:

I have the same problem and I run wireless for my internet. I guess I should get a cable going directly to the router. Does anyone know how much one of these cables costs and where I can buy it? I'm not that smart with computers.. thanks
Any place that sells computers or parts should carry them.
The problem did lie with the wireless, but changing the channel didn't do much.[Jett-CC]-Megadeth_Fan wrote:

I'm starting to think it could be my wireless router, which is a lynxis.
Trying to research port forwarding but I'm not that tech savy :S
I snaked a cat 6 cable through my wall just because I was fed up,
It works flawlessly now
I have a program that I can't move or delete from my desktop. Attempts to rename it funny things have also failed
Anyways I run Vista 64.
I'm just starting to get into the google results now, but I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix it?

Alright, I'll try the single processor fix when I get a chance
The reason I posted the specs is because I wasn't having this problem with my old computer, bf2 was running great on medium to high settings (yet I was using the same router).
I know its wireless and I would get a better connection from a hardline connection, but as it wasn't causing trouble before I thought it might be something to do with the computer hardware.
Oh well, thanks for the advice BlueHawk

It seems these issues do not happen at all during single player.
If that helps with diagnosis.

I've read through some of the various guides here and haven't figured out how to fix my problem.
I'm running bf2 on Vista 64 bit,
Every 15-20 seconds in game I get a message flashing on the screen showing that I'm having connection problems.
Its enough to kill me in a firefight or crash me when I'm flying a chopper or plane
At first I thought it was my Antivirus (trend micro). So I disabled that completely while I play and am still experiencing the same issues
Can anyone else shed some light on this?

Nice KDR, too bad you only play medic
When you are carying a medic in your vehicle and he heals someone as you drive by you get a special ability point.

Joysticks are just plain more fun to fly with, not to mention wildy more practical.
occasionally. I don't grow it, buy it, or keep it with me at all. Mostly only @ parties or if my friends get a hold of some.
I think its way too complicated. People would spend months learning how to play.
Everything was working fine lately in vanilla until last night
Pretty amature guide in my opinion Cut out the parts where you are returning to reload and focus more on actual help than hte soundtrack next time.
CHEX QUEST. Nothing like blasting flemoids with your zorcher in the Doom engine.
Why don't you just send them to your email adress in a picture message?
I rarely use unlocks as it is. Occasionally I will switch to m95 for vehicle damage or PKM over SAW, but mostly I just use the tier 1's

KD closely followed by SPM.
I'm always amazed when I see a Major with a KD ratio of like 3:1 and only 400 hours of game play.
Edit: Unless 100,000/115,000 of his points are from revives

No, getting a veteran badge will never give you an unlock. But playing on SF servers gives you access to the tier 2 unlocks when they become available after promotions in rank.-=V.R=- wrote:

if I buy it, all kit veterans will give unlocks? If yes, I will buy it today
A tank can be used pretty effectively for offensive missions if you know what you are doing. Using it to take flags with some minor vehicle and infantry support is actually quite effective. As long as you switch regularly between the close chase cam and the head on view (which gives you a huge range) you shouldn't get c4'd. I only switch to the inside view when I need to shoot at something or I'm guarding a particular corner/location.
the rpk-74 is already rediculously accurate..you don't need more accuracy than that.
I own a Savage .30/06 and a Marlin model 60 SN .22
