Sorry but i have to disagree with you man i still mainly use the M-95, you just have to get to know how to shoot the rifle and it does require a little more skill to master compared to to the other sniper rifles.=W=GeneralSherman wrote:
hae u noticed that in almost all the long range shots the l96a1 is the gun to use...that just proves my point that the m95 blows

The USAF has also incorporated the helmet mounted radar to its pilots already in the acm stand point yes the F-15 does have wider turning radious than lets say the the F-16C, but like I said before its who ever is in the cockpit that determins the outcome of an air to air engagement. LT. Mike can back me up.Mensi wrote:
I think in a beyond visual range (BVR) engagement, the F-35 and F-15 are the superior choices.
That being said, I believe in a close range air combat maneuvering engagement (ACM), the Mig-29 and SU-33 (Is this plane in the game? not sure) have a distinct advantage. Helmet mounted radar, coupled with (what most consider) superior heat seeking technology, give them a great one up on the less agile F-15 up close and personal.
If anyone who has participated in ACM with the F-15 vs. Russian fighters at Red October, let me know what you think. My only experiences are from current publicly available flightsims such as Falcon 4.0 and Lockon, plus heresay on forums related to said subject. But my sim experience has tought me that if you're an American, use your BVR ability to it's fullest, don't let the russians get close, because that reduces your chances of survival.
Speaking in terms of the game, all of the engagements are ACM, so BVR principles are thrown out the window. In real life, I think there's a strong argument for the Mig in a strict ACM setting. But woot for the J-10 in the game
I stick by my statement about the STRIKE EAGLE yes its nice to have a dedicated air superiority fighter, but Its just me but I like things that can multi task. Dont get me wrong im sure the SU-37 terminator can give the F-15E a run for its money but thats only if the right pilot is behind the cockpit. I gurantee you put Edward Rickenbacker on to days F-15E againts 6 SU-37 bet you a pot load of money he'll down 4 of 6 fighters before the enemy even knows he was there. Its the personality of the pilot behind the stick that determinds the outcome of an air to air engagements.

Youd like to think nobody is that stupid but sorry there is. I wasnt under the impression that he was working for the other side, cause the other side was more than happy to shot him down. Yah that technology was incorporated in the F-15E's and F-22's last i read I might be wrong though. What makes that possible is just a sensor on the pilots helmet just like the ones AH-64's pilots use to control the gun on the chopper. You look where ever the gun follows.
I say the F-15E STRIKE EAGLE cause its been tried and tested under combat conditions and came out on top on every single engagement and its improved doplar radar can spot multiple enemy air targets from over 100 miles away, and can engage up to 4 enemy air targets at once. Also it can bomb the hell out of the enemy with pin point accuracy and switch right back to the role of an air superiority fighter with a flick of a switch. This plane is a marvel of technology.
What are every body elses thoughts on this, if this has been posted already, so bloody what.

For one i like the new patch from a pilots point of view, it actually takes skill now to raid the essex without being hit by AAA or being blown up by it. The point im trying to make is youd think people that are less experienced at flying would be discouraged from piloting jets since 1.2 came out, but some people never learn. Take this guy that I ran into last night while i was playing, we where playing gulf of oman on the mec side and like usual I finished loading first so I got to choose which plane I wanted.
So I took the Mig and climbed to about 400 alt and did circles till everybody got finished loading, I could not remember the individuals name but I do remember he was a corporal. The funniest thing was he tked someone for the SU-34, then of course the kick votes start poping up. So I trailed this guy from about 400 alt and like a true novice heads straight for the essex on a nice straight level flight, not surprisingly he gets blown up straight away without him even firing a shot.
Youd think anybody in there right mind would learn from their first mistake and change their game plan or something, but as I saw on the message board on the top left of the screen this kid kept getting killed by the essex over and over as the game wore on and the sad part was I think he kept tking for the SU-34 also. I checked his score and his k/d was like 5/22 at a score of -36.
I couldnt help it but laugh at this guys attempts to raid the carrier and fail over and over again, good thing we won though or else I wouldnt really found it that funny. Will ill give him credit he attracted those F-35s like no ones business, then little old me drop down from cloud cover and blew up the trailing F-35s that was on his six the enemy fighters never saw me coming, I got about 20 air to air kills this way. I think that makes me an ACE just kidding of course.

The server is called LA CANTENA BF2 RANKED its filled with bunch of cry baby admins. We just started playing Gulf Of Oman and I head straight for the SU-34 and took a gunner, now I didnt go for the carrier I just circled over the beach head till target started showing up. Now not even 10 mins in the game I already had 50 pts while every one on the server still had 10pts or lower, then some body started a kick vote againts me cause they thnk im using an aim bot. Thats why im killing 5 guys every time I pass a base on the beach. Then 1 minute later I was kicked for excessive team killing, thats what I found funny cause I didnt kill anybody in my team the whole round, I was even told "I WAS MEAN WITH THE BOMBS". The reason why I got so many kills every time I did a bomb run over a base, is cause that was the closes base next to the one our team just capped. So I just drop my bombs there and watch the kills come in. I guess the admins on this server didnt like me raining bombs on there teams heads to whole game.
Hey if they cant get off the carrier more points for me, specially on wake my highest round ever from just bombing the carrier deck and blackhawks 144. Im a proud plane whore but I do give air to ground support if infantry are about to be over ran by armor.
Yah admit I used the noob tube alot when I was starting out, but now I use the GL for long range indirect fire support instead of walking around corners in karkand blowing stuff up 2 feet infront you thats just noobish. I mainly just fly planes now or play support roles.I2elik wrote:
44 Hours with the noob tube, no offence but that's kinda gay.
But yes, there are fucktards on many a server, you get people like that on american servers, thank God Australian ones have less, but much more annoying.
They have other spawn points besides the carrier deck its not my fault they couldnt figure that out. They where basically saying to me "look free points take it"Bert10099 wrote:
You bombed them the whole round because they couldn't take a flag? Or was it, they couldn't take a flag because you were bombing them the whole round?sragoot wrote:
This is what happened I was on my J-10 bombing the hell out the carrier, cause the other team did not manage to capture one base the whole round.
I just got done playing wake about 10mins ago and Im so fucking pissed that I just have to let out here. This is what happened I was on my J-10 bombing the hell out the carrier, cause the other team did not manage to capture one base the whole round. So the round is almost over I have 60/2 kd ration and a couple kill assist , so I had about 122 points and I just crashed cause the other J-10 was not paying attention and I respawned hoping to get a couple more kills before the round is over. Then I see a FAV with to guys in it heading straight towards me at full speed and crashed into the my J-10 and I get the tk. Then I was kicked from the server for excessive TK's, the whole round I did not kill any of my team mates and these to ASSHOLES ram me and I get kicked. I lost out on my gold I dont know if im awarded the points I worked so hard for, but has any one else encounter ASSHOLES like this?
J-10's - F-18's - F35b's There all amazing planes in the game but people have there preference, in wake I get over 140 IAR with the J-10 (chinese) and 110 IAR with the F-35B(US). Its how you apply the aircraft but the F-18 is slightly less maneuverable than the F-35B, I personally rather have the MIG-29 any day. As for bombers speaking as for somebody who has been flying for almost 100hrs bombers are great for colums of armor, but to susceptible to enemy fighters. It takes skill to fly a plane but it takes more skill to kill somebody with two bombs instead of five, bombers are a great learning platform but eventually good pilots graduate to fighters. Thats my opion of course but feel free to give me flak if you think im way out in left field with my comment.
I comprehend what your saying but most of the ppl giving me flak about this subject just keeps saying im wrong with out giving a proper reason. But as for me compromising the optimum set of the BH as you say, far from it.Wildbill100372 wrote:
But, Sragoot, in your quest to obtain multiple awards (engineer and whichever ones require driver assists/team points, etc.), you've compromised the optimum set up for the BH. That's the point people are trying to make. Can you comprehend that?
With good team work and communication with the ppl in the back you can play the whole round with out being shot down. Good pilots know when to bug out of a hot area( BIG SECRET) and get repaired.
No I wasnt if you actually read the first post I clearly stated that I needed my engineer time and i also needed driver ability points.Wildbill100372 wrote:
But he was referring only to his engineer badge. To get the engineer badge, you need to fulfill a time requirement and a kill requirement. Piloting the BH fulfills only the time requirement. There are better ways to get the engineer badge.maton wrote:
there is difference between the kill assist that the pilot gets and the ones the rest of the crew gets, if you are a pilot every "kill assist" will be DRIVER kills assist which goes to your driver score, and the rest of the crew gets kill DAMMAGE assist wich goes to your kills assist stats, so if you are going for the medal of valor better star black hawk whoring (and be the pilot) cause you'll need 5,000 driver score.Wildbill100372 wrote:
That was my point. The thread starter began making fun of people's spelling and grammar when he himself can't spell. People in glass houses ...
But to get back on topic, I still wonder why you (the pilot) would want to be an engineer in a Blackhawk. I understand you're going after your badge, but the only requirement you'll be fulfilling is time. You can't repair because you're flying and you're not getting any kills, just kill assists. You're better off being a medic. If you want to get your engineer badge, you're better off letting someone else (who's preferably a medic) fly, and sit in the BH as a passenger. you'll fulfill your time requirement as an engineer, you'll get kill assists just like the pilot would, you can repair the chopper and you'll get helicopter time.
also the driver ability points counts as driver score, and you get that every time a ingeneer in the BH make a repair point or the suport guy make a ammo giving point, and the medics with the heal points
MY GOD THERE IS INTELLIGENT LIFE OUT THERE. Finally someone that actually read what i orginally posted thank you DocZ for getting what i said, that apparently illuded the intellingence of some individual(s) you know who you are.maton wrote:

So from now on IF YOU SEE SOMEONE IN ANY VEHICLE FEEL FREE TO JUMP IN AND START SHOOTING TOO, BUT DO NOT DRIVE AT ALL, IT IS KINDA HARD TO HIT A TARGET IF YOUR DRIVER IS PISSED AND CANT DRIVE STRAIGHT.

It's just a silly little question but if your lucky enough to get your squad in the black in mashtuur, how do you allocate assignments? like for me when im piloting if i need driver ability points, it also depend what badge im working on too(Engineer 4 me):
Seats locations
F1. Engineer
F2. Soppurt
F3. Medic
F4. Engineer (throwing AT mines)
F5. Engineer (throwing AT mines)
F6. Spec Ops
Yah I love the BlackHawk in Mastuur Its a brothel for team work points if your the pilot

Yeah I'd bomb that carrier deck on wake every time if ppl cant capture a base on the island more points for me the quicker I can get to 2LT, but if they do capture a base on the island most of the time 3/4 of there team is still on the carreir deck wating.
Spawn on the island thats how teams lose rounds on wake ( you can when a battle even if your on foot, its a little harder though) but if ppl are inept enough to be in the helo and fighter spawn area when they see a fighter doing bombing runs every 30 seconds and killing people spawn somewhere else dont cry faul. If im playing in that server id laugh my ass off, but then again im probably the one doing the bombing
It takes a little brain power but come on, well ppl like that are just beyond explanation and understanding and a majority of players in the BF2 community share this syndrome of ineptness.
