Driver special ability point piss me off!

Hi folks,

Everyone I know who´s playing BF2 is telling me that it is a easy one to get driver spezial ability points.
I´m not a tank or APC whore but I certainly use them.
(I need only a few hours to get veteran badges for both)

U can tell me that the exp. explosive is hard hard to get (I think one lucky round on Warlord will make it) but the Medal of Valor seems to be the hardest Award in BF2!

What´s ur opinion about that topic? And how many driver spezial ability points u have?

I´ve got only 799 Points for round about 100h using APC and tank

ive got almost 1500 and only 20 hours in tank and 9 in transport, don't really know where you went wrong o.O

Your best bet for DSA points is to taxi multiple foundation kits (medic, support and the lesser engineer) around.

Tanks and APCs are harder to get DSA points with.

You dont need to be a tank whore to get them. special ability = you being the driver of a vehicle and someone in the vehicle with you gets a repair, heal, resupply point.

I think I know what´s going wrong!
I don´t used the Black Hawk on Musthur... Because nobody´s flying after the last patch. I think this was a good DSA-Points mashine!

Well the Blackhawk just became shitty. All they needed to change is the armor on the BH and leave the MiniGun like it's been before.

meh, easiest to get this points is be a decent chopper pilot. Your gunner will kick ass and you will have often more than 30 driver points in one round. Or sit on top of the karkand tank and watch the points come in. Not that hard, but you need a good co-player.

i have 18 000 driver and 2 valour medals, i think they are easy, you need to pilot for a good gunner and the driver points will come rolling in.

No, I don´t think so...
When I´m a Commander and must repair, reviev or something I resign and try to apply after that.

Be a pilot in either the attack chopper or bomber and let your co-pilot do all the killing. Line him/her up for shots and the DSA points will roll in.

Dont expect to get driver ability points in a tank. Your top gunner never lives long enough anyway. APC would be OK if you had a Supply or Engy on board. The transport helis are just flying targets now and are a waste of time. The best way is to be the pilot of the attack heli. Every kill for your gunner is a driver point for you. I have 10,700 from this.

I have about 8,200. But I'm always flying the attack choppers, and my clanmate is the gunner. So thats how I got them.

I have 5749... just waiting for the 30,000 team points.

I used to pilot the chopper a loooot, cause nobody I play with could fly it. But now they are pretty good too, so I can shoot stuff now.

You get the Driver points with the teammates in your vehicle. So if they dont get any points, you dont get the DSA. That simple. So even if you spend 400 hours in the tank without a teammate, no DSA. Choppers and transports are the best to get them.

Get in an apc, be squad leader and get the guys to stick close. Dont be support or meddy though, be summat else. Have an engy to sit in the apc with you and just drive around Songhau for 3 weeks.

The easy way to get driver special ablility points is when you are pilot of cobra or any other helicopter and i have about 3,209 driver abiliby points

I only have like 839 i dont understand how to get them now do it probably from the Helo i flew awhile back and the apc on karkand.
