What are you majoring in or wanting to major in? I was going to make a poll but there's too many choices.
First I looked at engineering and quickly realized I don't love math enough to endure four years of complex math.
Then I considered Government and Politics but I greatly prefer debating current issues over studying philosophers.
Then I considered Criminal Justice except it's not very useful (compared to things like engineering, nursing, sciences, accounting etc) outside of law enforcement which is a field I want to go into, but if I get injured on the job and can't perform my duties I'd like something to fall back on.
Right now I'm just undeclared but looking at Supply Chain Management. I really wanna either become an officer in the USAF or become a police officer, so for those two it doesn't totally matter what major you are. But if neither pan out, I'd like something secure. I like science, but again the math... accounting is secure but it looks dreadfully boring. And I don't think I'm cut out for nursing... great admiration for those who do it.

Yeah, that's what mainly put me off engineering too. Was looking at electrical engineering but it's apparently one of the most math-driven fields.Hurricane2k9 wrote:

Possibly. Just check with the departments you might be interested in. Also go to forums.officer.com the people there are very helpful and knowledgeable. Probably because most of them are officersandrooz wrote:
