The most accurate and deadly weapon is of course the GRENADE.
I picked up sniping because that doesn't suffer from prone delay and I can drop people using RPKs at fogline just like that.
However they had a change of strategy. I am sniping someone at max view distance and they just keep chucking grenades. From multiple directions. It is retarded that those grenades can actually reach me.
Grenades increased about 200% since the last patch. Take away peoples guns and they go to the next best thing.
Why wait for prone dev and waste time aiming when you can just lob a grenade in a general direction and it does insane AOE and does one hit kills. I can't see why DICE doesn't notice this. I mean they addressed the spamability of grenades in 2142 yet they bring prone dev from 2142 and leave grenades untouched.

I wonder how accurate the G36C is now with the better hitreg, I thought it was insanely accurate in 1.41
Why would they make it less accurate? Or was you lying, I didn't think anyone moaned about it being too accurate, and now hitreg is better so why would it be worse?
I could of swore I heard someone talking about it from the beta I dont know if they implemented it.H3RB4L ABU53 wrote:

Actually that would be... L86 for PLA and M16 for USMC, Ak47 is same useless crap as it used to be.
I prefer Type98 over MP5DeathUnlimited wrote:

In 1.41 the G36C was the most accurate gun, not many people used it though, I remember 1 game on Karkand someone was using it beating all the medics kill wise- I know it doesn't do a lot of damage but it hardly ever missed so it was a good gun, don't see why it's retarded that people like it, I think the Chinese carbine is retarded, and ugly, the G36C looks good and sounds good too
lol, noob spotted...AK-47 is easily the best AR in BF2.RoaringJet[FIN] wrote:

The only problem with the aks is that I can never seem to line up the sights properly, usually resulting in my death at any rang but close or CQC.

I like the sights on them..? It's definitely one of the best guns in the game.ROGUEDD wrote:

, most inaccurate rifle in the game is suddently the best now? Lol, I guess its good for you if all you can do is crouch and spray.Longbow wrote:

Practice, practice, practice mate. You'll have to suck it up for quite a while before you really begin to master weapons like the AK-47/101, once you do you'll have nothing but disgust for anyone who dares use an unlockROGUEDD wrote:

For some reason the 'most inaccurate rifle in the game' is a headshot dealer on single shot and absolutely rapes in CQB on full auto. Well...I still remember times when people came to these forums saying AK-101 is terribly inaccurate. I guess it takes time, tons of deaths & practice with a weapon to actually understand that it's not all about numbers. AK-47 may have the worst values, but it's definitely not the least accurate rifle in the game.RoaringJet[FIN] wrote:

A quick note on the AR's:
I just played a couple of rounds with the L85A1 and that is THE moodiest weapon in the game...
One round you'll be picking up headshots from any distance and the next round you can't even hit the ground while aiming straight down.
Very fun to play with but incredibly frustrating at times.

I've been playing way too much I/O Blue Pearl lately. Shotguns are so outrageously fun. Plus it's so easy to get a shit ton of command points for my stupid WCR.
In regards to the L85, I remember loving that gun so much (this was years ago, though). I remember using it over the AK and G36. But lately I've tried getting back into it and have failed miserably. Sometimes it works as a good CQB gun, or a low-range sniper rifle, but then other times it's an utter failure. Even with short bursts or single shots I've managed to have an entire clip's worth of ammo go flying through the sky and hit nothing but air. So annoying.

It is the most inaccurate assault rifle in game... No matter how much you would like to think it isnt. Sometimes you can shoot 10 rounds with semi auto fire on a non moving target 50m away and miss every shot. And sometimes strafe and spray and get headshots from miles away, cause the aim is so badly off and its random where the bullet flies inside the crosshair.Longbow wrote:

But if you still like headshotting I suggest using L85, first shot is almost guarantee hit and if you know how to shoot with it, youll beat G36E from long range any day...
naw ak is great once you figure it out.
Famas is far more inaccurate than AK-47. I would say, AK-47 is more predictable than AK-101, hence, I prefer 47 over 101. It may be less accurate, but 101 is way to random at range. Sometimes it hits, sometimes it doesnt. 47 does the job better. G3 is close to AK-47, speaking of accuracy, yet noone consider G3 inaccurate...RoaringJet[FIN] wrote:

Actually I was reffering to assault's AK-47, which is slightly better then medic's. As for L85 - love it, sometimes use it over M16 (not too often though) and over G36 (always), but L85 is too weak, even though it's practically the most accurate rifle due to scope.RoaringJet[FIN] wrote:

p/s for some reason AK-47 works better for me for long distance shooting than AK-101. Am I the only one?

So true, also applies to damage on M16/G36E for me, sometimes I can whore that weapon out, scoring a kill in every burst, and other times I unload a full magazine into someone and then he turns around and oneshots me with the same weapon. And no, it's not my accuracy, the bullets are actually hitting, and regging, but not doing damage...Sambuccashake wrote:

Well, I should probably mention that I used to hate BF2, so I switched to 2142. I love that, but I wanted to try the BF2 1.5 final patch. It is a good patch. I am really liking it. The hit registry is great... I still don't like the way the guns work (not that it was changed in 1.5), but it is fun now, at least somewhat. Operation Blue Pearl is a great map... I was missing a good map with my favorite team the PLA. I also like playing Great Wall in Euro Force so I can use the FAMAS and the L85A2 (which is a lot better than the a1). I will probably still play 2142 mostly, but 1.5 is pretty good.
