I actually enjoy being married very much (24 yrs old). Been married three years next month. Not only is my wife beautiful, but her and I do basically everything together. Minus surfing BF2s of course. Go for it Macbeth, find a wife!
I enjoy marriage so much I've done it twice!
I'm nearly 40 and the biggest bit of advice I can pass on is don't get married until you are at least 30. Stay single, travel and play the field (i.e. fuck like a rabbit) until you are ready to settle down but don't rush into it.
I'm sure someone said the same thing to me when I was 21 and I didn't listen. My last divorce cost me $500,000.00

Less than half but we had 2 houses. The worst thing was I bought that house at 19 after coming back from the first Gulf War and ended up having to give it to her. Man that sux.

children raising children today, i think they shouldn't issue the license until you prove you're 25 or so. my younger brothers both married early, both are divorced. have an opinion of what you like, of who you are, and don't move from it. don't regret what you've done, and don't settle. and for God's sake don't mistake love for like, like is way more important . . .

No thanks. I think we both subconsciously know that eventually, as good as things are now, it won't last forever. It may be decades long, or next year when it all crashes down, but I am not smart enough or mature enough to be able to definitively say "This is THE one" and believe it will work till death.
