That's an interesting theory...

I thought it was commonly accepted that light was most definitely a particle, not a wave, and it just acted like a wave because of quantum effects.
I always think of photons as waves in massless little particle packets (it's what they looked like in one of my physics textbooks and it just stuck in my head like that).

Another topic with lots of YouTube videos as evidence.
Just like UFO's, cold fusion, runs on water machines, perpetual machines.

After many years of redicule it turns out cold fusion is for real (yet unexplained).
So I wouldn't be surprised if vacuum energy is very real.

Dark energy, the energy contained in matter we find extremely difficult to detect, but is probably there.

I am sure that this energy exists. But how the hell do we harness it?

"About 22% is thought to be composed of dark matter. The remaining 74% is thought to consist of dark energy, an even stranger component, distributed diffusely in space."

I like the words "thought".
Basically we don't know much about 96% of the universe, right? I find that troubling. The shit we can see is only 4% FFS.

You can create anti-matter, but the energy it needs vastly outnumbers the energy the anti-matter possess. +its highly unstable, if u fuck it up you get Hiroshima x1000 with only few grams of it.

edit: fixed proper terms

They think. Maybe. No one knows enough about it to accurately make those kinds of predictions.

Dark Matter is just one of the names that has been given to something they've come up with to account for all the mass that is missing.

*edit*D'oh!

Anti-Matter and Anti-Matter annihilation, eh...

I wondered what the hell you were talking about.

whats the matter with you people? haven't you seen the new star trek movie. Red matter is where its at, one drop of this stuff and we can create a black hole and have all the vacuum energy we need. I intend to research the subject further after I've finished building a star ship in my backyard. I don't have a ZPM to power it, so I'm going to use a more abundant power source.... Budweiser induced human methane emissions
