Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is a multimedia project developed by LucasArts along with Dark Horse Comics, Lego, Hasbro, and Del Rey Books. It consists of a video game, a tie-in novel, action figures, a comic book, a reference book and a role-playing game supplement, as well as a book on the making of the game. The game will be available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS, second-generation N-Gage, iPhone, iPod Touch, and PlayStation 2.

Story

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed tells the story of Darth Vader's secret apprentice, code-named "Starkiller", as he hunts down the Jedi remaining after Emperor Palpatine orders them killed. Set in the dark times between Episode III and Episode IV, the story explores the aftermath of the Great Jedi Purge as well as the rise of Darth Vader, leading into the Original Trilogy.

This entry in the Star Wars saga casts players as Darth Vader's "Secret Apprentice", unveiling new revelations about the Star Wars galaxy. The expansive story, created under direction from George Lucas, is set during the largely unexplored era between Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. In it, players will assist the iconic villain in his quest to rid the universe of Jedi - and face decisions that could change the course of their destiny. As its name implies, The Force Unleashed completely re-imagines the scope and scale of the Force by taking full advantage of newly developed technologies that will be seen and experienced for the first time anywhere in videogaming.

The game will feature many notable places from the film series such as Cloud City, The Death Star, and others. Many notable characters as well will be seen as well, including the obvious (Darth Vader being one of them),

The game will also use NaturalMotion's Euphoria engine (which was used in Grand Theft Auto IV) which allows enemies as well as the person you're playing as to react with incredibly realistic body movements.

Characters

Codename: Starkiller (The Apprentice)
Real Name: To Be Revealed

A child who was living with his father on Kashyyyk (his mother died due to a raid). After Vader killed his father, Starkiller was abducted and raised into a Dark Jedi. Where the story goes from there on out is for you to find out.

Fun Fact: StarKiller is Luke Skywalker's original name when Lucas was penning the plot for A New Hope.

Codename: Darth Vader
Real Name: Anakin Skywalker

You get to play as him in the beginning in the game. He was once a nice guy, but after becoming paranoid of his wife Padme. He turned into the dark side. He lower body was cut off by his former master, Obi-Wan-Kenobi. His entire body was burned as well. Talk about a sight to behold. He is the master of Starkiller and will usually give him orders.

Codename: Proxy

A C3-PO like character, Proxy can virtually become ANYONE with his hologram overcloak. He travels with StarKiller in his space ship.

Real Name: Juno Eclipse

An Imperial officer who pilots the Rogue Shadow (Dark Side based Millennium Falcon-esque ship). She thinks Starkiller is a spy for Darth Vader. She is also Starkiller's love interest. What will happen to her will be based on your outcome of the story (watch the launch trailer).

Real Name: Rahm Kota

A former General in the Clone Wars, his lack of faith in Clone Troopers allowed him to escape the Jedi massacre. He later went into hiding then came out and took over a TIE fighter construction facility, which you must attack (as seen in the demo).
