The majority of people complaining about the hitbox detection do so because their either playing on servers with really shitty ping, or they just plain suck. The Hit detection works fine, just learn to lead your targets and stop complaining.

Rope repelling from transport helis.
While I do hotseat, i'd like to see something along the lines of not being able to switch seats in attack choppers, in mid-air.
Evenly balanced jets. While I understand they each have there tradeoffs, j-10's still can own a map with the right pilots.
More destructible environments.
Bullet penetration through pliable materials.
Fully Customizable characters.
ADMIN:
More versatility with setting up server rules:
For example: Allowing the server admins to set auto kick/bans for attacking uncap areas (if thats a server rule).
WHAT CAN STAY:
Sniper rifle damage. I understand that in "real life", a .50 cal wouldn't necessarily have to hit the target to kill them. However, having a gun like this in the game would nerf all the other weapons. If they did happen to take the 1 hit kill route, i'd like to see a MUCH longer reload time and a very small amount of ammo. Roughly 4 to 8 rounds per person.
Tank and Apc weaknesses.
The ability to crouch by clays like in 2142.

Actual DVD credits.aimless wrote:
Is it the PowerDVD credits or the actual dvd credits? Maybe theres some menu option? Does it do this with all your dvd's?
I've looked through all of the possible options and nothing seems to work. Strangely, it only does this with my LOTR Special Editions. All my other DVD's work fine. Theres nothing like watching the charge of the Rohirrim at Helms Deep and seeing "Howard Shore Composer" flash on top of the screen.
I've been using PowerDVD 7.2 for a while now. While trying to watch LOTR: Two Towers, I noticed that the film credits would come up on a continuous loop during the entire film. I don't mind subtitles, but I hate having Director/Writer/Producer Peter Jackson appear at the top of the screen DURING the movie. I've tried combing through all of the configuration options, but nothing seems to work. Any help figuring out how to get rid of this would be greatly appreciated.
Looks like the humor and spirit of the last 3 are in this one. Can't wait to see it!!
Lol, you could try and take us over. I say TRY. If you managed to circumvent our military forces ( i'd do it now with ol' Bushy in charge, shouldn't be a problem). Now the bad news, you'd still have to get through millions of civilian gun owners. You thought the insurgency in Iraq was bad? Wait till you meet a redneck who just lost their right to drink their shitty "beer". Good luck, your gonna need it.

That sucks bro. It's not much better up here in Oregon. I see at least 2 of those cards under my door every week. Whether it be for lawn care, home repair, or some other form of manual labor. Most only accept cash or check and very few offer up a valid license.
Brady just got too comfortable with all the time he was given by his Of-line in the regular season. When the Giants brought the D-line storm, Brady wasn't able to cope. 5 sacks and like 20 hurries, his Of-line was on vacation. He's a descent QB, but not the god the media has projected him to be. The Giants (specifically Strahan), came in and played their asses off. Brady and the Pats thought they'd just waltz right through.
To all the bandwagon Pat's fans, you got pwned like the bitches you are.
To all the original Pat's fans, better luck next year.
Congrats to the Giants on a well deserved win.

Even all the way out here on the west coast, we heard thousands of Patriots fans committing suicide.
The Pats will be remembered for one of the biggest upsets in NFL history, not their perfect regular season record.

Of all the days to have the server come down, why the weekend? Good game EA, good game.
My best round was 436 on my old clan's 32 player karkand server. Only a couple of us were playing at the time. The round lasted FOREVER. As for full servers, roughly 150-200 depending on the skill of my squad. Now that i'm over 200,000, points don't really matter. Time and kills do.
Yes.

Belfast seriously creeped me out. Upon arriving on a ferry from Stranraer, the entire port was blockaded. My cabby said that I should stay indoors after 5 pm due to a protest in the city. I asked him what they were protesting about, which he said, "Their protesting because they aren't allowed to protest."
In Belfast, I felt a false sense of security the entire time. I've never seen so many armored police cars in my life. Every cop was carrying some sore of fully automatic rifle and they were yelling at people on street corners. I dunno, maybe i just had crappy timing while i was there and Belfast is actually a nice city. I dunno.

I read your entire story and I have little sympathy for you. You clearly are new to the game and have stooped to the level of so many that you bash. You forced tk, plane camped, and called people names when you couldn't get your way. The thing that makes this so funny is that you stayed in the server after so many repeated attempts at getting a plane. You sir...........FAIL.

So what's a good deodorant? It needs to last long, for the whole day preferably.
You apply it only once every other day right before you go to bed (not after a shower though). This stuff will keep you dry for 3 days. You can even apply deodorant over it. Its an aluminum based liquid thats clear. You don't need very much, but it works like a champ.

Its the stereotypical flamboyant homosexual male that I think the military feels uncomfortable with. While i'm sure that gays wouldn't act like that in an organization that requires strict discipline, its still an issue that the military won't tackle. You can still be gay in the military, just don't tell anyone. Thats as accepting the military is going to get for a LONG time.
Ssandstorm, this thread while informative isn't really anything new compared to the dozens of other sniper threads started in the past. However, I do commend you for writing up such a lengthy guide. I myself enjoy dropping claymores occasionally whenever i'm not "feelin' it" with the other kits.

Thanks for stating the obvious with the claymore K/D ratio. I've yet to figure out how this game works.

Good for you trackstarr for considering joining the military. If your like me, you don't have any idea what to do after high school and you certainly don't have the grades, money, or desire to go directly to college. I joined the Navy to see the world and get the College Fund and GI Bill (its working wonders right now.) I don't regret a single moment I spent while I was in.
Here are a few tips:
BE WARNED: Your recruiter is NOT your friend. Think of them as car salesmen. You can't stand 'em, but you still have to deal with them. Ask about all the enlistment bonuses and college funds you can. Don't pick what they want you to do. Look over each job CAREFULLY and THOROUGHLY. On paper, the military can make a janitor look like a waste management technician. Its all in the wording so be careful. Choose your rate, choose your fate.
Also, joining the DEP (Delayed Entry Program) will decrease your time spent in the inactive reserves (if you decide to get out.) You can also gain rank before your even sworn in by meeting certain criteria.
If you do decide to join, be prepared to do some paperwork. The military is a finely tune machine of bureaucracy so bring a pen wherever you go. The motto "Hurry up and wait." applies heavily in the paperwork department. You'll spend a whole day or two down at your states MEPS depot filling out the initial paperwork. Then when you get to boot, you'll spend anywhere from a couple of days to 2 weeks filling out more.
Hope this info helps.

We had a junior officer in my squadron stand up in the middle of a flight briefing and say "I am gay." He then promptly left and proceeded to the base personnel department and began his process of getting out. I've heard of other military members using the "I am gay" ploy to get out.
I for one don't care about whether or not someone is gay. Its none of my buisness. Besides, if your a homophobe, you'd never make it in the military anyways. Most see any weakness, regardless what it is, and try and exploit it for amusement.

I've only seen the commander hack on 2 separate servers the entire time i've played this game. The first was at Dragon. No admin and the server crashed. The second time was on my clans server. When we paused it, the hacker left never to return. I'm a firm believer in that using the pause function tells the players that an admin is there and watching you. That typically spooks most hackers away. Also having battlerecorder on and alot of clanmates using fraps helps too.

True, the soviets did put up some pretty impressive numbers of casualties. But thats due to the overwhelming fear that was driving them. A soldier that lives, fights another day. This was lost on the russians in that they sent thousands of soldiers in a frontal assaults hoping that their sheer numbers would do the work.Chorcai wrote:
