Awsome!!! I want this to be just like in real life where I kept going up and down, yo-yo like!

I like it. I was saving an unlock from when I picked up Sergeant, and loaded up after patch and found I had 3 unlocks! Kick arse. The P90 isn't bad, but isn't quite as powerfull as I would have hoped. I'm not a sniper so I haven't tried that unlock, and probably won't untill it's the last thing to unlock.
there HAS to be something wrong here!
you guys are bloody insain. I may try this later, thanks!
anyone know if the P90 will replace the DAO, or if we'll have to unlock the DAO before we unlock the P90. I am saving an unlock for that badboy
Hi everyone, my name's Aaron, and I'm an Armorwhore. I've gone about 6 hours since my last fix. I don't know if I can do without it! Please let me know what your experiences are! Are you an Armorwhore too? You say you're not, but you realize that accepting you have a problem is the first step!
man a few +1 Funny mods would be usefull here.
I am sorry but the action type of a rifle cannot possibly affect the muzzle velocity of a given round, now the way a given weapon is made, the barrel, the rifleing, the amount of twist, and the way an action works (obviously a gas operated weapon will have a slightly lower muzzle velocity because of the use of a small mount of the gases being siphoned off for use of cycleing the bolt) Now in the game they didn't take into account for real life physics ortherwise the M4 would be able to do the same amount of dammage as any other 5.56mm weapon in the game, and I have found this to be otherwise. The main reason the Marines use a bolt action weapon system for their scout snipers is for reliabilty and higher accuracy.ghostgr wrote:
They are of equal power I have tested this, but with one you can shoot through glass. And if you take an SVD and then another rifle of the same exact caliber, grain, etc. the bolt action will be more powerful. This is because the way they are made it burns off more powder but not the same with semi or an auto. I have tested this in real life and in game.MarkyMark wrote:
Jeez'! I was in a hurry but I'll be sure to make every grammatical, punctuational and literal perfection I can in this one. OK?
A rifle's power has nothing to with it being bolt-action or sem-automatic. It's about muzzle velocity and calibre. Just because two rifle's fire rounds with the same diameter, it doesn't mean that the bolt-action will be more powerful. The only thing that reload type affects is firing rate and accuracy.
PS: I'm not sure if you meant, "M95 and M24 are of equal power in the game", but if you did, they aren't.
I just got done playing on that server. Got both knife and pistol badges. They switch between the two. To keep things close togeather it's a 16 player server. Pretty fun if you ask me. Honestly I don't see the problem with this. I know it can be a form of stat padding, but if it's available to eveyone, well wtf?
awsome, thanks! That works pretty well, I'll just have the other actors be on the other side
Okay I was wondering if I could turn off the map and how the player's name comes up when you are looking at them. I'm going to start filming and I don't want the map, and I certainly don't want the player's names showing up in my finished project. I'm guessing I'll probably have to do it from within the command screen (~) but I wouldn't know the commands. Please help!
no kill streaks work from round to round. Incase you didn't notice your character dies at the end of the round. I've actually been on a map where the end screen was a flag I was trying to cap and was able to see my dead body flop to the ground. Wish I had had FRAPS running for that one!
Another question for this topic, I want to know if it is possible to turn off the map, and the names above the other people.
I belive you must own SF to unlock the other weapons.
yes the FPS thing works on the new FRAPS, this battlerecorder, how does it work? I'll end up having a private online server to do the filming, having my actors in the game, and I'll be the cameraman.
the old version of fraps isn't working for me on BF:2. As far as not so legal ways, well I assume if those were to be posted here bad things could happen to me, and the poster, so there would have to be another way to get that type of info to me....
Okay I want to start a series using Battlefield 2. I was planning on using FRAPS 2 to record but it doesn't work. Anybody figure out a way to record the game? If so what was used, and can you give me any pointers? Thanks!! Well I just downloaded the new version of FRAPS and it works, only problem is my lisence didn't carry over from FRAPS 2.0 I don't feel like paying for it again, any ideas?
