It's not meant to inflict pain, it's meant to kill, so I don't understand why we are even debating this. Although these bullets can and will inflict pain it's purpose is to kill and disable the enemy.

If you knew theology you would know that killing in itself is not a sin, murder is. It is not wrong to kill by means of self defense or killing someone who's intent is murder. "Thou shalt not kill" really means thou shalt not murder because the old hebrew version had a word which meant intentional murder not just any killing. I just wanted to clear that up because many people do not know the difference between killing and murder. Many also feel that war is absolutly wrong because they think any taking of life is wrong.

Your not always going to be able to finish them with ur pistol because they'll run unless they r stupid and even if u have the crosshair on their head everytime(with the m95) u r not always going to hit them in the head, but the m24 will hit them where u put the crosshair more consistantly then the m95 almost always. I looked at ur stats SgtSatan435 and u r not very experienced I feel i would know more about the M95 than u(no offense). But since the m24 is more acc than the m95 we have to assume that m24 will hit ur opponents head more than the m95 will.
If in fact EA said there is no bullet drop, there is no bullet drop. Look if u point next to som1's body with almost any gun it may hit them because of it's inaccuracy and that may be what ur experiencing when u put it over their head. If EA said no, then no.bigelectricat wrote:

As for you -xXCRUWXx- , yes the M95's crosshairs are bigger and will effect your accuracy somewhat ----->BUT!!!<---- the M24's acc is VERY HIGH and the M95's acc is HIGH. So when i say the m24 is more acc the m95 i am not making it up. Look at both gun's and check their accuracy and you will see for your self. So no i don't have it all wrong. So it may be lag sometimes but the m24 is still more acc
Dolphin Diving to knife and revive is just worthless. I kill many a dolphin knifer and all I do is stab them when i see an oppurtunity ,but i don't go into an acrobatic show down with them. As far as some1 who is prone is concerned, run up to them duck put the crosshairs on their body and stab them(quick and simple). I have been in all knife servers and i see acrobats as if they were engaged in a circus performance and i wonder why they do it. You can simply watch out for your oppenents knife and when it's safe ,knife them good. When I say "dolphin diving" i mean multiple prone,jump,prone,jump,prone,jump, etc. , but if u need to dive once(to get on their level) to knife some1 in the prone position, i have no problem with diving to your enemy just to get on the ground.
Only beef I have is that the grenade launcher's lack of a minimun range(which will be fixed) and ppl frog dancing (also being fixed). This update makes the game close to perfect as far as balance and I am quite pleased with the changes. As far as improving the acc of the G3 I don't understand because it's just fine in my oppinion. I am not sure why any1 wants to change the vehicles because they are meant to be lethal, vehicles r fine. People who disagree with this patch are a minority.
This gun ---->M24<---- is the best sniper rifle and I feel the SVD and the type 88 are more efficent than the M95. If u want to kill the person everytime then take the M24 and put the crosshairs on their head,fire, and they will die, but the M95 i have found is not like this, if you put the crosshairs on their head they may die. They may just run away because they only have 2 blocks of health left. Atleast if the SVD does not hit ur target in the head u can quickly end his life by shooting a second or third time without them running or getting away. The only sniper rifle that needs acc adjustment is the m95 because it will miss(their head, not necissarily the rest of their body) frequently, but it will certainly hit ur enemy in the shoulder and he will be near death. I get pissed when i pick up a USMC or British sniper kit and it's and M95, and i immediatley throw that shit back on the ground. Another advantage to the autosnipers is i can kill multiple enemies fast(meaning large groups of enemy) not just one, i can kill many enemies with the m24 also, but the m95 will end up injuring alot of them and not killing them. I am not bad with the sniper either i have used the m95 enough to know the m24 is way better plus the new update is adjusting the sniper rifles acc(and they should only adjust the m95, but they will prob adjust them all) so it isn't a myth.
Will probably be the best BF2 update EVER! The patch we have all been waiting for, I feel like this patch was made for me.
and losing that ability is such a heartbreak, the fix is well worth not being able to jump and throw c4

Well u can run up to the bots and knife them in the face and prob sit there for a little while before knifing them because the bots suck, so that's bad practice. You could sit and repair a vehicle while he is shooting at u and when ur done knife him in the face, that's how crappy the bots are. When the patch comes out there should be no more complaints because it will solve noob-203er's and nob-30er's and the dance of the frog(frog dancing) or dolphin diving (i think frog dancing is a more acc term) and after those r fixed the game will be better than it allready is and i don't see a need for any more fixes. Kill me with helis armor and jets and i will not complain because i expect to be killed by those. The frog dancers will now have learn how to use cover and be tactical. Although if they didn't make this patch i would continue to enjoy the game and deal with these type players which i do. I also agree that using the GL at range and on vehicles is fine, i am talking about ppl u strafe jump and launch a grenade at ur feet and only I die. Shoot him and take his ride and yes rockets are not practical for getting alot of kills unless i guess u r an expert and if u r an expert at it return ur Bf2 game to the store.
I like it because it consistantly shoots in one spot when rapidly fired and it is also good at long ranges even though some ppl think it is only good at close range. I generally use it when i am engineer or anti tank and have to kill a long range target, but i will use it with every kit if i need it. I still feel that it needs to be more powerful because i have hit several ppl in the head and they don't die until i shoot them 2 or 3 times in the head. Any bullet that hits u in the head should kill u even a pistol and sub machine gun round. Maybe there should be an exception to that if u hit their helmet , but as far as i knew i thought helmets were more for protecting u from shrapnel not bullets, but i may be wrong about that. I still think the pistol is an excellent weapon in BF2.

Yeah troop combat maps are where there fun is. I like all the SF maps and I am not much for piloting but i like to hop in a helicopter every once in a while. And Karkand has alot of troop combat so that's y i think alot of ppl like it.
I have almost played all the new maps and every1 I have played so far I like. I love this troop based expansion more than the regular BF2, because my favorite aspect of the game is gun fighting. I also enjoy the grappling hook because now i can knife snipers who leave claymores on the ladder, because i ussually have to go back down the ladder and try and shoot them. I can also capture bases in areas that are not easily accessable unless u jump off a higher building or use ur grappling hook. And instead of going around things I can clear them. The update that I have read about will definitly improve the game even further, and put an end to frog dancing. Make the grenade launcher have a minimum range and make jumping realistic, where u can't jump multiple times without getting tired and change how high ppl can jump to a realistic height(y did they make it so high in the first place?). Heavy gear and guns should equate to almost no ability to jump and certianly not reapetedly without being fatigued. Make these changes and the game is pretty much perfect.
Yeah there are some retarded commanders , like commanders who continully artillery a spawn so not even his own troops can capture it because all he cares about is points. One server i was in i was on the road partially and crossing over and my dumbass commander side swipes me with a humvee and since i he had a mic and was tlkin alot i wondered why he didn't apalogize. So i asked "why did you run me over?" and he responded "you ran out into the road you dumbshit". That pissed me off because i didn't jump out of a bush and suprise him, i was allready on the road when he ran me over and i could easily be seen by passing vehicles. I know if it were me driving i would not have been ran over. I siad to him "stfu u dumbass it's not like i jumped out of a bush i was in the middle of the road". So i continued playing and started to get bored and i saw my commander who had previously ran me over and i figured i'd tk him before i left. Three MEC ran up on me so 1 shot one with my pistol then killed the other two with the pump shotgun a very dealdy weapon then i turned to my commander and executed him. But ltr in the day when one of my friends wanted to play bf2 ,and he was telling me what server he was in, he said some dumbass ran him over, and sure enough it was the same idiot who had ran me over previously. I move when i see som1 on the road, only way i will run them over is if they run out before i can react.
i play fine when there r noob tubers mabye a few more deaths than ussual but i do pretty good, i just don't like the fact that it's unrealistic as far as splashdamage is concerned

Yeah but read thunderpuss's reply Stenzel, no US soldier is going to endanger his friends and himself by using his GL at 5ft away that's just madness. He makes an excellent point , u'd be dead if u tried that shit in real life not to mention a dumbass ,so they should make it more realistic in this way. I have no big problem with long range GL usage i just don't like the unrealistic aspect of it. Not only is the fact that he can go unscratched absured ,but the fact that he can jump over ur head like he is in the olympics with all that heavy gear.
Well the expansion is suppost to concentrate more on troop combat ,which i know i will enjoy, so u guys should be looking forward to that. I have no problem with vehicles ,but i don't use them alot either, every once in a while i'll get in one.
If what atlvolunteer says is true then it should definitly be changed in this way. If they made it like the real m203 as atlvolunteer says then i'd be fine with it because i am fine with getting hit long range(atleast i can get away from it) but 5ft away is silly and what really pisses me off is when the GL user kills himself too , when it is perfectly possible for him to switch to his gun or knife my ass. Tanks and apcs don't bother me too much, they can get annoying when they camp a spawn instead of taking it ,but they can be avioded pretty easily most of the time. I don't really see the fun in only using the tank or apc because for me the real fun is in troop on troop combat or even troop on vehicle combat, sitting in a tank can get boring unless u get to take on enemy tanks. To me the tank and apc aspect of the game are pretty realistic and when they kill me it doesn't bother me, but i don't know how realistic the firing is if it isn't realistic then by all means they should change it. This just isn't a big issue to me if they leave it the same fine, if they decide to change it in a patch that's fine too.
i never said it was stupid, but you use the glauncher in practicical situations, except u can shoot through the crane and hit the sniper, u could pistol him from beneath and the bullets will go throuth and kill him and u can clear cps with ur gun but the launcher works too i guess, vehicles r fine targets with ur launcher ,but i wasn't aware u could destroy mines with glaunchers is this possible?

Hi i am pretty sure i should be a 1st Seargent and i am still a master seargent I have 42,000 global and the site says i should be 1st seargent, i have seen players with 28,000 with 1st seargent and the only difference was that they had more ribbons and awards. Do i need more ribbons or more veteran badges because i thought i had enough?
I totally agree with BF2dude and in response to heart attack u have to suck ass to have to waste 3 clips on som1 (and i know you mean other ppl other than yourself, i was not directing the comment at u),obviously they r stupid if they don't try to get closer if they can only see ur foot. I have picked up an enemy gun before and they only have one clip and i look at the scoreboard and they have no kills and i wonder how they could do that.
Well i don't complain about tanks and apcs and i find it easier to avoid them than when i am confronted from 2 ft away by a grenade launcher and he is willing to kill himself to kill me. I don't have a problem with long range grenade shots cause atleast it takes skill. This is a complaining section so i am complaining about the grenade launcher and i do adapt and deal with it because i have to, I just feel the game would be more enjoyable without them. This complaint is for ppl who use them 24/7 and have no skill with guns not for som1 like heart attack who probably uses the grenade launcher sparingly. And about what Superfly said, most ppl who use the grenade launcher 24/7 either suck with guns or are pretty good with them, but i rather be great with guns and kill the ppl who are equipped with the "noob tubes".
It's not as if i can't kill them Iron Geek , i do all the time because they r basicully in every sever u go to, but it takes no work or skill for them to make their kills, when the rest of us aim the just point at the wall behind u and u fucked then they run like panzies when the miss u, im not the one who needs more skill it's those nade launcher abusers. This subject comes up alot in servers when players feel that some ppl over use the grenade launcher and many call it the "noob launcher", no not because it hurls noobs in the air ,but because noobs use it constantly. Common names of the grenade launcher are noob launcher, noob tube, and the noober tuber, but I myself also refer to them as the noob203 and the GP-noob. I feel that the launcher hurts the gameplay more than help it because any1 can use it with ease ,even som1 who is tactically retarded or couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with bullets. They definitly over use it and i don't think alot of them even know there is a fully functionaly assualt rifle attached to their grenade launcher. I am not totally against the launcher i beleive it should be used it certian situations when it's neccesary ,like on a hummvee or vodnik that is attacking u or driving by or on som1 who has you pinned down with a mounted machine gun emplacment and sometimes to take out tank gunners. The part that is noob is when ppl shoot u from 5ft away and kill you ,probably because they suck with the guns and they play too much halo where most of the bullets hit right on the target. It is not as if it is impossible to kill ppl who use this weapon it is that they only use it because otherwise you would be owning them with bullets. Even if you are an excellent gun fighter most of the time the launcher will defeat u because it's easy to kill with, but if u give them a gun u would easily fuck them up. A simple way to solve the grenade launcher dilema is to give every assualt gun with the grenade attachment only ONE grenade round and make it a bit weaker. I think a dead on shot from the GL should kill ur opponent always ,but they should make it more difficult to kill them by shooting at their feet or next to them.
