Problems: Commanders are using vehicle drops for kills instead of giving them to players & Vehicle drops are too frequent.
Solution: Vehicle drops can ONLY be done by request. Realistically speaking, if someone needed a real vehicle drop, it wouldn't happen on the whim of a moment. You wouldn't have a vehicle in the air waiting to be dropped on cue. It would take time to load into a cargo plane or attach to a Huey chopper, fly out, and drop off. Artillery strikes take about 10-20 seconds before the shells land and about a minute before it recharges. Essentially vehicle dropping is more effective than artillery. Vehicles need to take a full 20-30 seconds before they touch land. Perhaps they could rig it so the closer it is to the UAV trailer the less time it takes. This would also give an interesting disadvantage of alerting enemies to your prescence in an area as they see if falling in the sky. That's the trade off for getting a vehicle.

Solution: Vehicle drops can ONLY be done by request. Also, vehicles will explode if they land on something that isn't the ground. Make the vehicles a non-usuable entity until they touch ground. If a vehicle managed to land on a wall (assuming the thid comment didn't happen) it would also remove it from the playing field immediately.

Solutions: Vehicle drops can ONLY be done by request. Vehicle drops can only be done in clearings... no close than 20 meters from any building.
