How much is that?  If you can get it, 150/35 is $200 here.  50/20 is $150.
Fuck me that's expensive. I'm paying £29.75 for first 6 months then £34.75 afterwards. 12 month contract. Actual speeds proven at 92mbit over a typical 24 hour day.

It's dirt cheap (cheaper than my fucking phone contract that has a cap at 500mb) and completely worth it.

I currently have 20MB broadband with Sky and download at 1mb/s and upload at 0.25mb/s which is fucking pathetic due to signal degradation. Granted, I won't use the full power of 100mb download speeds, but will certainly use the amazing upload speeds. That's why I'm getting it anyway.

The US is behind on broadband and phone contracts, which is why it's so damn expensive.

There are some benefits of being at technical uni. I have free 100/100mbit at home too.

Get the white ones.   Use them while holding a white cased  iPhone or iPad.

A 1976 Konica Autoreflex TC with three lenses that I got from my uncle and his son. They were just going to chuck it into the garbage but I rescued it and got some batteries and film for it. The thing is in perfect working order (they tell me). It seems to work just fine but I suppose I'll find out once I develop the pictures I've taken thus far.

The lenses are:
- F3.5/28mm wide-angle lens
- F2.8/60-120mm telephoto lens
- F1.8/40mm lens (for normal shots)

I'll have to text my dad and ask him if that's a decent camera, he know A LOT about old equipment.

Let me know what he says. This is a slightly cheaper version of another Konica camera so I know it isn't the hottest thing on the block. I'm just blown away by the fact that it's in such great condition and still works! I've taken about 13 photos on a 36 shot roll, so hopefully I'll have some sexy pictures to post later this week.

My job just bought me the 240GB version of that after my Crucial 120GB (1.5 years old) ate it.

We had to fire someone to afford it, but my boot time is incredible now!

I thought I read somewhere that the Intel SSD's were slooooooooow in comparison with other brands ... perhaps Intel uses a different controller.

From what i've heard Intel SSD's don't always top the performance charts, but in terms of reliability and lack of firmware issues they seem to be the best.

That's precisely why I got the one I did. Non-RAID + work computer == reliability takes significant weight.

WTF?!

Wow, SSD's are going down a bit. Not enough to get me to ditch my 128GB quite yet, though.
