Homefront I had high hopes until the developer went bust and hackers became the norm.
Modern Warfare 2
A total snore-fest of a game.
That's about it. I usually do a ton of research before I buy any game, so I'm not disappointed very often.

Any Call of Duty beyond 4, Marvel vs Capcom 3, Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe to name a few. Also, anything over $10 that I've had for over a year without playing.
Marvel vs capcom 3 is pretty fun.
I regret most of the shit I buy in steam sales. Either don't touch them or play them for 30 minutes.

No, I didn't like the first portal. The 'aw, cool puzzle game' aura wore off after probably 2 hours of play. And all the cryptic 'the cake is a lie' type commentary really turned me off.mtb0minime wrote:

Portal 1
or do you just regret it because it was free that one day and tf2 is also now free.
TF2 was fun for a bit, but i was late to the party and it went downhill shortly after I got into it. I enjoyed TFC though
TF2 was best early on. Now it's a chopping mall of random weapons, gay hats and wonky balance. Got my use out of it before things went downhill, though.
Test Drive Unlimited 2, even at $4.99; worst racing game ever.
Stalker
Modern warfare 3. Oh god WHY

for a fatty you're a serious intellectual lightweight.
You bought MW3 knowing full well what to expect?Camm wrote:

Tu Stultus Es
last time i take advice from you faggots
Tu Stultus Es
NFS Hot Pursuit -> Good for mindless entertainment I suppose. By the time I bought it, everyone I knew that played it had stopped playing multiplayer so I bored myself with the rinse, lather, repeat SP.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series -> No explanation needed
R.U.S.E. -> Bought it expecting to play with a friend...never went further than the main menu
Splinter Cell series -> Not as good as I was expecting. Guess it's better played on console.

Single player is even worse
Sim Theme Park - What the hell was I thinking when I bought this.
Gorasul: The Legacy of the Dragon - Why...
Green Berets - It came with Myth II (never bothered playing that), but Green Berets was awful.
Empires: Dawn of the Modern World - Disappointed because the single player cheats were non existent, the AI cheated, and skirmish battles dragged on forever. Plus micromanaging was a pain, which I wasn't aware of that term at the time of buying the game.

I liked the Ghostbusters game, even if it wasn't a sandbox.Winston_Churchill wrote:
