I've played a bunch of STO. Enough, in fact, to warrant the lifetime I got with it. I would've been better served with a lifetime in DCUO, though.
STO's space combat is solid, but I could care less about the clunky ground combat. Space combat isn't without its share of problems, though. Scale is WAAAAY off, and you're going to be fighting zoomed out so far that it looks like blip vs blip rather than the massive starships they're supposed to be. Plus you can't fight from the bridge like in Bridge Commander, so you can forget that.

I played STO for about a month with a trial key thing from Alienware. I enjoyed it, not as much as ToR, but its like comparing apples and oranges. I updated the client, and may play a little of it.
Binding of Isaac makes me uncomfortable within minutes...
I know a $1 isn't a lot of money but doesn't this seem pretty ridiculous? They are selling people stuff that sites like bf2s would give away for free back in the day. That wouldn't be so bad if third party sites weren't getting wiped out by official game forums and big sites like reddit. I know they are trying to make a buck and all but this kinda goes further then your typical greed.
I wouldn't mind paying for new occasional stuff but when companies decide to do what they plan to do with the next Twisted Metal it gets aggravating. (The next Twisted Metal is going to released with only a few playable characters from the start. Never mind the fact that the bench of characters from the TM series is really deep. They are obviously going to sell character packs a short while after release I'm sure.)

Decided to replay HL2. It's still a great game. It's also pretty cool that Valve is still updating/adding things to it.

Plus it broke a few skyboxes and things and I don't think they've been fixed.
