Well maybe it would be, since you're getting a a Z68 board you could use the SSD for SSD caching to give a performance boost.

Guess maybe the future is coolers like those Corsair H-series.

Seriously though, RAM should be fitted last unless you have an abnormally large cooler that covers them... Though I'd hate to replace RAM on that motherboard once installed...

EDIT: Another thing entirely... I though Tri-Channel was the norm these days? Don't you need 3slot combo's to run Tri-Channel?

Dual-Channel lasted so long, and now we've jumped 2 brackets since I bought my Core2Duo with DDR2 dual-channels a few years ago
