This pretty much describes me, too. I pick the best product (in my price range) but am happy when that best product is American made. But I also agree that if I go into an authentic Western wear store, I would be disappointed by seeing it all made elsewhere. It impacts "the experience."Jay wrote:
I'll pay for the quality, durable item regardless of the country of origin. Who wants to have to buy the same thing six times? That said, I do get a residual pride thing when I do buy stuff made in the USA but I think it's just leftover marketing from the Buy USA ad campaigns that used to run 24/7 when I was a kid.
That being said, I can't afford most authentic Western wear, and would end up buying the foreign stuff and mumbling under my breath... Lol.
