Looks like it will be changed again when Aus gets an R+18, but I've also heard this may effect German users with a low gore game.

This was a day 1 pre-order for me, and the first ever pre-order I've done. Having played RO since it was released commercially, I'm very excited. The community has grown considerably again within the past year, and hopefully it won't die out in the 1-2 years post-release like what happened with the first.

You don´t really have to tbh. Most games nowadays come mulitlingual anyways, so you can order it in Englishland, or in Austria if there is no multi-version.
It has however a considerable impact on sales in those countries.

Unfortunately proxies/VPN dont work for steam. I have tried :p

They dont tend to work a lot of places where payment is being made. Paypal somehow works out you are using one and of course credit cards are tied to specific countries. I am sure there is some way but I havent been bothered to work it out. Some kind of online credit card perhaps.
