(1) I've never left this site (except for about 6 weeks due to some personal issues), but most of my time on here is spent responding to issues & complaints, and responding generally to PMs ... not much (if any time) left for posting.
(2) The rules of this site have not changed. Follow them or, alternatively, start your own forum with different rules and invite everyone over.
(3) The genesis of this thread was that I have received far too many complaints about flaming from moderators to members, and that isn't cool.
This just in no one cares.
I remember when BF2S was cool and fun.
I and anyone else over the age of 15 can handle flames from mods, they're nothing but power-hungry maniacs, it's only a problem when they start flaming us and banning us in the process.

The game this forum was created around has been, for all intents and purposes, put out to pasture. The reason those threads existed in the first place was about BF2. Now that relatively very few people play BF2 any more, those same players who used to disucuss the game now hang out and discuss other games, and yeah the conversation goes OT all the time because we have formed online friendships and that's simply the nature of conversation.
