Just bought this game after not hearing much about it, but a couple of friends got it and it interested me.
First off: It's buggy as hell. It's just been released and the multiplayer isn't too stable. There are patches apparently being rolled out every 24 hours, though.
Other than that, though, the game is great fun. You control a little wizard guy and have access to 8 elements, which can be combined together to create hundreds of different spells to use. Controls took me a bit to get used to, but when comfortable you just fly out with the combinations.
Also, the devs definitely have a sense of humour. I cried with laughter at the beginning of chapter 3. Lots of references, too, to loads of fiction. Harry Potter and Highlander are two off the top of my head.
Friendly fire is on, and teamkilling happens a lot. Most of the time it's quite funny, though, and completely accidental. With some spells you can 'cross the streams', but if done at the wrong angle it will create a huge explosion.
From what I can tell, the game has so many things to find out and play with, not just including the spell system.
Only £7.99, I recommend it, but maybe wait for the bugs to die out.
Anyone else got this?
