Dedicate 3 spots (or more) a week when you'll 'force' yourself to workout.

Actually, you should see it as some sort of relaxing. In the gym I never have to worry about my schoolwork or plans I still have to make. I come in, let the Iron talk to me and go out. feelsgoodman

By the way, got my % measured today. I'm 1m70, 67.5kgs and 9% of fat. I started bulking not so long ago, goal is to reach 70KG while already cut down to like 7%.

I'm actually doing a negative freshman 15. So far, 8 lbs lost. Down to 172 from my summer peak of 180.

Same. I had tendonitis in my knees when I was younger, I don't really feel it anymore

Meh, I've been feeling it for a few years already. I'll just keep on squatting

I've gotten used to the pain, really. Most important thing is that I now know it's not inside my knee, so I won't need an operation.
Got some topical and might need some kinesiotherapy afterwards.

They better heal fast, as I'm keen to try out the 20 reps squat program (if knees are better by then, ofcourse).. Anyone experienced with it?

Careful with your knees bud, they tend to cause problems later on in life if you're already feeling pain now.

i don't know why people dont do leg exercises, there was 3 guys working out like mad but they never did any squat/deads and their legs look toothpick lol

i have been going to the gym for about 2 months and i have only seen about 5 guys doing deadlifts

I work legs through cardio. Running and cycling.

It is when you crank the resistance up way past 11.

Its sort of like high reps low weights taken to an extreme though if you think about it. More cardio than anything else. Working legs = squats etc.

I still come off the bike with my legs burning, so it's obviously doing something.

no.  and still no.  It's what lazy people say because they're too pussy to use weights.

60% of all your muscle mass is in your legs and back, are you telling me effective and efficent development of muscle mass can be derived by cycling/running/rowing?  Get real.

Deadlifts/squats/lunges/lat pulldowns/bent over rows/pull ups etc are the bedrock and foundation of muscular hypertrophy.  whether you like it or not yooooooooooooooooooooooooooooou have to do em.  start light, develop good form, build the weight up slowly.

i dont give a chuff if you're legs are burning.  I hear it all the time "oh oh if i can feel it, it must be working".  So if i kick you in the nuts will that be working for your dumb ass too?
