I have to add, if you was watching 'Watchmen' for your typical crime fighting super hero, then you was watching it for the wrong reasons. It's a film about the wider responsibilities of what it means to be a 'super hero' and the fine line between being a force of good and a force of evil.

The film was never trying to be a Superman or a Batman, it's Watchmen, it designed to provoke thought and conversation. Incidentally, Watchmen was written by Alan Moore, who also wrote Batman graphic novels on which the Heath Ledger version of 'The Joker' is heavily based on.

Synecdoche, New York - 10/10.

Not what you would call traditionally 'enjoyable', but a more thought provoking and challenging film than any i've ever experienced. It's a truly brilliant piece of work and one that will stay with me for a very long time.

-1 cause you didn't get to see the Joker in a body bag since the scene was cut.

Stupid political correctness.

Actually I read they hit a few trial audiences with it and it had a negative impact on the movie.

Besides, the Joker can't die. He's Batman's biggest villain. Closest it's ever come was the Joker snapping his own neck to frame Batman for murder. That'd be like topping Doc Ock in Spiderman (which is why they didn't show him dying either).

Wasn't it supposed to be an alternate ending on the dvd release?

Anyhoo Alice in wonderland 3D - 7/10

Trippy CGI, pretty girl, bunch of antipronouncable names and otherwise odd stuff.

It was ok.

Nah, DVDrip, but a 2 gig file at that. Quality was pretty good, considering the age of it.
I was talking about its codec, xvid

Fantastic. I loved the special effects ad CGI, and the little bit of humor it had was good too.

Also I just watched the new 90 minute Youtube review of Attack of the Clones. It was as long as a movie so I'll put it in here.

Clash of the Titans = Terminator: Salvation WTF
5/10
I gave this a lower review because I watched Terminator: Salvation a couple days before watching the remake of Clash of the Titans IMax/3D.
The parallelism between the two movies are staggering. I am too lazy to list them all....I'll let you compare them both. Sam Worthington is pretty much playing the same role in both movies. The parellelism is around his character/acting which made this movie boring for me....it's not bad...but Sam Worthington needed to break out of the Marcus (terminator salvation) character.

I really enjoyed it. It got a little cheesy and fake, but I give props to the special effects crew.
