A good set of replies, started off with the originality by Goons and then the unpredictability of you Burnzzy, didnt expect the follow up link there, really caught me off guard. Then an unexpected yet pleasant contribution from a splendid Canadian, a good set of replies, however if finray were to be replaced by somebody more notable it could have been a classic.

I really enjoyed it, does for SH what Deadwood did for the wild west imo, poor oul Basil Rathbone is probably spinning in his grave though tbf.. i'd give it a 8/10 it was a little too rip roaring for my taste..
I watched it and loved it, 8/10.
The movie really captures the eccentricities of Holmes, and actually portrays Watson as someone competent.
I completely (yet respectfully) disagree with Winston Churchill in that the storyline is quite eloquent, and pretty much all the loose ends are tied up.

Downey was good in Iron Man, but so much better in Sherlock Holmes. His character in Iron Man was average, but he nailed Sherlock Holmes. He is what made the movie.
