The sequel to Last year's acclaimed thread. These prestigious awards are given the the BF2s members who have shown massive amounts of fail both OL and IRL. These members have unintentionally generated massive lulz and as such, need to be forever remembered.
As there was so much more facepalm worthy members this year than last, the awards will no longer be given out by section, instead by different types of faggotry.
The award for biggest bawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww'er of 2009 goes to Spidery_Yoda, for any and every of his posts in the Left 4 Dead section. Yoda managed to make every post in that section from June onwards be nothing more than butthurt whining about how he was personally betrayed by Valve for making another game instead of giving him free crap. And even when Valve did give him free crap, he bawwwwwwwwwwww'd about how much he hated it, even though at point it seemed more like he wanted to hate it.
The award for biggest elitist douche-bag of 2009 goes to Uzique, for any of his posts on the subject of music or literature. Uzique never fails to remind you how much smarter and better educated he is than you, and how you are a moron if you don't like the same books and music that he does. Uzique posts like he has something to prove, you need to be dumber than he is, you need to have worse taste that he does. You are his inferior in every way and he will not stop until you understand this.
The award for biggest RL fuck-up of 2009 goes to CammRobb, who over the course of the past year has lighten himself on fire, joined the navy as a submarine crewman, where he will be stuck in a cramped sub with only dudes and no sunlight for months, and spent most of the year living off welfare. You really have to try to fail that hard.
The award for biggest troll-bait of 2009 goes to -=]NS[=-Eagle and Ioan92. Their drawn out wepon contest started out as a way for wannabe soldiers to get hardons looking at all the ways they can over-compensate, and ended up being won by a flashlight and 3 tubes. The contest put BF2s's greatest trolls up against the kind of morons who think that Project Reality is fun and who get butthurt when someone doesn't know the difference between a magazine and a clip. In the end the troll wepon in question, Captain Miggle's Incredible Low Budget Pistol, Free With Order of 20 or More World Peace Guns, was victorious and the threads were alive with the kind of people who think the military is cool and not at all gay lamenting.
The award for most annoying fanboy of 2009 goes to specialistx2324. specialist drank IW's cool-aid first back in 2007, when he went ape-shit over the alleged glory that was CoD4. When IW announced that CoD4 was getting a sequel, entitled: Call of Duty 4 2: Electric Boogaloo, he made sure that everyone knew that it would be the best game ever. When DICE released the 1.5 beta patch for BF2, he jumped in the BF2 forums and went on about how BF2 was dead and COD42EB was the messiah, that would lead us out of the darkness and into the promised land. Shit got worse and worse as more videos and announcements on COD42EB were made, and while the more intelligent amoung us were quick to spot most of the crap being added (dual wielding pistols, increasingly ridiculous kill streak rewards, silenced shotguns) were obvious attempts at jacking off the fan boys, he was one such fanboy and ate it all up. In October IW let slip that the PC version would not have dedicated servers, mods, a dev console or lean, he did admit that those were bad decisions on IW's part, but he was buying the XBox version anyway, so he still ended up thinking that the gaming equivalent to one of Michael Bay's cinamatic monstrosities was God's give to mankind.
The award for biggest RAEG of 2009 goes to War Man. When our hero made a thread about some alledged bizarre behavior committed by Japan's Prime Minister's wife, the rest of the userbase was clear that the thread sucked and so did the man posting it. He then asked how come he wasn't allowed to make threads, he was promptly told that he had to privlages on the site and is only not banned out of pitty. He then flipped his lid, making demands and screaming at people (HIS CAPSLOCK KEY WAS LOUD!), making the most legendary post since Warpaq's rant.
The award for least liked mod of 2009 goes to ATG. For the first few months after Mister Grape was made a mod all was well in the land. However by summer he started to change, he became more strict, started pulling rules out of his ass and banning people, allot. He would kill your thread because he thought it sucked, when his own threads were mostly alcohol fueled tinfoil hat rants, where something unimportant happened in this one place and that means that THE GOVERNMENT IS GONNA TAKE YER FREEDOM!! Eventually ATG gave in to the demands for his resignation, and handed in his badge. And I haven't gotten an AWM since.
The award for overall most epic fail member of the year 2009, the most prestigious of all the awards distributed tonight, going to the member who caused the most epic facepalm of the year, to attain this a member must fail so hard he goes beyond lulz, to the point that what he did wasn't funny, and downright comtemptable.

Yes, Parker. For those of you who don't know the story it goes like this. Some time in 2008 Parker was made a mod on BF2s. People liked him, he didn't abuse his powers and he was in general fairly respected. Now Parker made knives for a living, or so he claimed. He would often post pictures of his creations of BF2s for some constructive criticism, or just to show them to people. Many members liked what they saw and wanted to buy a knife from him, and he took their orders. Around the same time, Parker started getting more and more butthurt whenever a member would mention piracy, getting angry at them and RAEGing about how it was stealing in all. Very, very ballsy for someone about to do the following. So after discussing the orders with the members that wanted to buy some of his products, Parker got a few members to send him the money for the knives. Once all the money was sent in, Parker never posted again. He just took their money and said nothing, a scam two years in the making. He gained the trust of the community and used in to steal the hard earned money of unsuspecting members. If he did actually make and sell knives, then by break our trust he could have cut himself off a potentially big source of sales, however ATG said that he helped him design a website, and ATG suspected that all Parker did was buy cheap factory knives, reassemble and mark them then sell them as his own. While aside ATG's claims I haven't seen any prove of that, I wouldn't put it past him but even then he would be losing out of income for stealing from BF2s members.
