So, I just started playing my first ever legal game that had "Games for Windows Live", Batman: AA. So I fire it up, and I figure I might as well create a proper live account if I want to play multiplayer, so I go through that process, live account linked to my live email, yadada.

I enter the serial of the game, it starts "downloading my profile", half a minute later I'm told that "Windows Live is not usable in your region"

What the fuck? So people in Iceland aren't allowed to play games online anymore according to microsoft? Do I really need to create a separate live account with location as something else to play my games online? Why do I even need a fucking live account to play online? What happened to a simple fucking serial code, DONE?

Fuck I'm pissed off now

Of course, in a certain sense it is wrong to complain about something you pirated, but ultimately how you got the game doesn't affect your experience and thus you are as qualified to criticize it as anyone else.
