Yeah bashing people in the head with a riot shield is epic.

Gonna go out on a limb and say that everyone that is on bf2s and plays this game rapes face. Seeing as most of us have prior fps skillz.Stimey wrote:
I rape face at this game.
It's possible, but it involves enabling developer mode and cheats. Once you get it working the config defaults after every load and it only works in SP. Even WaW lets you change FOV in MP and that game is a mess.Miggle wrote:
can't you change that stuff in a config file?iNeedUrFace4Soup wrote:

uk/euro players, add my steam and lets par-tay for a few rounds. see just how fun this game can be. at the moment the painfully-shit IWNet match-making and the low-skill of public randomness makes me rage a little. want to try and play in a few (half) organized games with people i know, should increase the fun factor a bit.

I bought a PS3 version at Sainsburys for £26, took it to HMV who traded it for £36 and i got PC copy and they owed me £1.Mikey wrote:

shall we get a bf2s group going? it is exponentially more fun when you're playing with people you know. managed to get in-game voice-chat working... ish, too. would be good to have 5-6 people on a teamspeak all kicking ass in S&D/TDM! still learning the maps at the moment, it's mindless fun for the most part. playing it as it's meant to be played, with no pretension of seriousness.
yeah, i think ioan's IP was dragging us far out into gypsy-roma nowherevillekrazed wrote:

I always thought they should do something like that, just dig a huge hole somewhere in the ocean to put all the water from the melting ice caps into, and then all the stuff we dig out of there can form a new island.Uzique wrote:

we should construct/sink a server-farm midway in the atlantic, right on top of the underground optic line. start offering server-hosting services at ridiculously premium prices, but finally bridge the gap between the us/eu gaming communities. even blizzard would get onboard with trans-atlantic wow players. we'd make millions overnight. i'll get to work building a barge, i think i have a few things lying around in the shed...

The fact that you fight what seems like hundreds of enemies in every single mission just makes the whole thing seem extremely crap to me. It's not fun. It's just a chore. The whole game is nothing more than a glorified shooting gallery. Every mission is BORING. It's like Transformers 2 in that way actually. There's so much crap going on I just don't care about any of it. There's never any lulls in the action either. Its just BADGUYS BADGUYS BADGUYS BADGUYS SCRIPTED EVENT BADGUYS BADGUYS BADGUYS MISSION END.
Not only that but I have literally no idea what's going on. I'm at the bit when i'm in Washington DC. What happens right is this. It will start loading the next mission. The video plays, usually slowly changing to the other insignia of the guys i'm about to switch to, the camera slowly pans the globe, then i'm finished loading and the video locks up. Great.
So in every single mission i'm wondering what on earth is going on then realise I don't care.
Another thing that bugs me is the fact that it switches who you play as after each mission. It means the entire 'experience' is extremely disjointed, which just emphasizes the fact that I don't know whats going on. Did IW design this game for people with attention spans of 1 minute or something.
Meh.
i'd say about 3/10 so far. It gets 3 points for running smoothly, the giving me a sentry gun at one point so I didn't have to go to the effort of shoot the hundreds of bad guys myself.
It's not much easier to follow even if the video doesn't lock up. It's made for people with ADHD, and as such, completely changes the plot every mission.Spidery_Yoda wrote:
