another vote for firefly. Great little show
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

But look up Breaking Bad. Fucking awesome TV show, but start at the beginning. Watch first two episodes and I can almost guarantee you will want to see the rest.

If animated series apply I would suggest Gunslinger Girl, IMO best anime ever made, probably because it is so unanimeish (actually the only thing that makes it one is the basic artistic style). If you actually like other animes and are a purist, this one probably won't appeal to you. Make sure you get the first thirteen episode series though, the follow up is maybe not bad, but IS just your average animeReciprocity wrote:

If you don't mind anime at all I could also recommend Gundam Wing. It gives a very realistic representation of war (apart from the tech). I liked it when I was younger but when I reviewed it later the typical anime stuff and subplots bothered me.

The movie can be watched without the series but to gain maximum enjoyment, series, then movie.
