It's your line to the nearest central that's limiting. From there on, there's no lack of bandwidth.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. It's nice I seem to have gotten a nice download upgrade but .5 Mb up sucks, I'd gladly give up half my download speed to get some decent upload.

I'm fully aware of the problems associated with changing the ratios. But there are still things like annex m that should have come into play a long time ago (i'm talking largely about oz here) so that by now they would be affordable.

I realise it's not a huge difference, but i'd take anything at this point. As i understand it iinet had to work hard to be able to offer it and it's still only available on business plans with retarded price tags.
