Restart your game, try a different server, hit ESC then try going back into the one you originally wanted. Worked for me somehow

lolllllllll i installed bf2, patched to 1.41, tried patching 1.5 got CRC error, aborted, thought I would run BF2 see if it even works, computer doesn't even find it

It's on my install list, but it wont run at all

Well now I managed to join, but I constantly get kicked without BF2 giving me a reason.

Are game-breaking patches all the rage now?

Edit: When I did manage to play, the hitreg was absolutely-fucking-terrible.

I hit a stationary guy 5 times dead on in his face with the sniper rifle, and nothing happened.

- Hitreg is nothing but worse than 1.41
- New map is nothing special (Sucks for IO, gets raped by tanks & APC's for conq.) Besides it's an absolute claymore heaven because of all those corners. It feels like kind of a mixture of Karkand and Wake tbh
- The prone from jump delay is totally pointless and just annoying as all restrictions of movement are. (And for the record I don't even dolphin dive)
- Same balance issues and bugs are still there.
- I am pretty sure the patch a) was delayed this long and b) was so big because of the support for falcon. I doubt 99% of players will ever need that support.

I am very disappointed.
